You would have an opportunity to work in our outpatient clinic doing pre-operative and post- operative care and doing 1st assist during surgery at the hospital. Title: Orthopedic Physician Assistant /Nurse Practitioner

Salary: $120,000 to $150,000 + bonus incentive

Responsibilities for Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant:

1st assist during surgeries at the local hospital

Pre-operative and post operative care in our outpatient clinic

Involved in daily rounding on patients

Suturing wounds and providing wound care management

Prescribing medication when appropriate

Documenting notes accordingly

Giving injections

Advising patients on injury/illness status and best course of treatment

Reading lab work and medical exams

Ordering diagnostic tests

Requirements for Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant:

Board Certification as Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

Graduate of accredited PA or NP school program
