Job Summary

The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) provides clinical and administrative support in an ambulatory care setting under the supervision of a licensed medical practitioner. This role supports patient care delivery and ensures efficient office operations.

Key Responsibilities


Clinical Duties

  • Prepare exam and treatment rooms, supplies, and instruments
  • Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers
  • Obtain and document vital signs and patient history in EMR
  • Perform EKG, PFT, audiometry, Titmus testing (after competency validation)
  • Perform UDS, BAT, phlebotomy, and other lab testing (after competency validation)
  • Assist with minor procedures and treatments
  • Conduct medication reconciliation
  • Screen and follow up on test results
  • Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention
  • Ensure proper function and care of clinical equipment


Administrative Duties

  • Telephone and in-person patient screening
  • Schedule appointments, admissions, and procedures
  • Enter demographic and financial data into EMR
  • Maintain and organize medical records
  • Assist with billing/collections
  • Monitor and replenish supplies


Required Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience


Certifications:

  • AHA BLS
  • One of the following active certifications: CMA (NHA), CMA (NCCT), CMA (AAMA), RMA (AMT), RMA (NAHP), AMCA, or NCMA


Skills:

  • Ability to take/document vitals
  • EMR proficiency
  • Critical thinking and teamwork

What You’ll Do:


New Business Development (Outbound Prospecting)

  • Identify and target companies across key industries that can benefit from improved recruitment marketing strategies.
  • Build, qualify, and nurture a pipeline of prospects through research, outreach, and follow-up.
  • Conduct discovery calls to uncover hiring needs, talent acquisition pain points, and advertising gaps.
  • Present recruitment advertising solutions that drive applicant volume, quality, and cost efficiency.
  • Support prospects through the sales cycle—from first outreach to signed agreement.


Account Management (Existing Book of Business)

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for your assigned clients.
  • Deeply understand each client’s hiring goals, job mix, and recruitment challenges.
  • Provide performance reporting, insights, and data-driven recommendations.
  • Identify upsell opportunities such as additional job categories, new locations, or expanded budgets.
  • Ensure exceptional client satisfaction and strong renewal outcomes.


What You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in recruitment advertising, HR tech, staffing, talent acquisition, or B2B sales/account management.
  • Experience with CRM and sales tools like Salesforce, Apollo, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, and Microsoft Office.
  • Comfortable with outbound outreach and managing multiple client accounts.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
