MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Requirements Manager to join our Air Force / Space team at Nellis AFB.
The Requirements Managerβs primary function is to support the United States Air Forceβs 53rd Wing Technical Support Services (53rd WTSS) contract. The position ensuring that software and product development projects meet all the necessary requirements. They are responsible for gathering, documenting, analyzing, and managing these requirements throughout the entire development lifecycle. This involves close collaboration with various stakeholders, including clients, users, and development teams, to ensure that the final product aligns with their needs and expectations.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Identifying and understanding the needs of stakeholders through various methods like interviews, surveys, and workshops.
Creating clear and concise requirement specifications that serve as a common understanding between the client and the development team.
Tracking and managing requirements throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring they are met, and any changes are properly documented and communicated.
Ensuring effective communication between stakeholders and the development team to avoid misunderstandings and ensure everyone is on the same page.
Maintaining equipment traceability between requirements, purchase, shipping, delivery, and overall accountability from requirements identification to delivery.
Helping to prioritize requirements based on their importance, impact, and feasibility.
Identifying potential risks associated with requirements and developing mitigation strategies.
Working to ensure that the final product meets the defined quality standards and fulfills the user needs.
Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelorβs degree in related discipline from an accredited college or university.Β 2 additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
2+ years direct/related experience
Solid understanding of software development methodologies, project management principles, and relevant technologies.
Operational Air Force experience
Security Clearance:
Must have current/active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information
Willingness to submit to a Polygraph.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
