Position Summary

The Director of Total Rewards will design, lead, and continually enhance Titan America’s enterprise-wide compensation, benefits, and rewards strategy to support talent attraction, retention, and performance across a multi-state industrial workforce. This role serves as the company’s subject matter expert in executive and broad-based compensation, benefits design, governance, compliance, and market intelligence — ensuring strong alignment with business goals and Titan’s performance-driven culture.

This position is highly strategic, requiring strong financial acumen, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to influence senior leaders. The role will also oversee the company’s corporate relocation program and play a key role in supporting organizational growth, workforce mobility, and M&A integration.

Key Responsibilities

Compensation Strategy & Governance

• Lead the design and administration of salary structures, short- and long-term incentive plans, annual merit cycles, sales compensation plans, and executive compensation programs.
• Conduct market benchmarking and compensation studies to maintain competitiveness across exempt, non-exempt, union, and skilled-trade roles.
• Develop and maintain pay governance practices that ensure internal equity, legal compliance, and alignment with Titan’s compensation philosophy.
• Partner with Finance and HRBPs on annual budgeting, workforce planning, and compensation forecasting.
• Oversee the preparation of executive compensation disclosures (including CD&A-style reporting), ensuring an appropriate balance between regulatory transparency and company objectives.
• Ensure clear and effective communication of executive compensation programs and program changes to participating leaders.

Benefits & Well-Being

• Oversee the strategy, design, and administration of employee benefit programs, including health & welfare plans, retirement programs (401k, frozen pension/OPEB oversight), well-being initiatives, and paid leave programs.
• Evaluate benefit competitiveness and cost-effectiveness; lead vendor RFPs, renewals, and negotiations.

HR Systems, Analytics & Reporting

• Ensure reward-related data integrity across HR systems (e.g., UKG, SAP, etc.).
• Build analytics and dashboards to inform decision-making around compensation cost, pay equity, incentive effectiveness, and workforce trends.
• Oversee accurate and timely filings, audits, and required reporting.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Serve as a strategic advisor to the CHRO and executive team on total rewards strategy, emerging trends, and risks.
• Act as Titan America’s thought leader for total rewards — actively engaging with external peers, industry groups, consultants, and subject-matter experts to maintain deep, current knowledge of best practices.
• Lead the development of recommendations to senior management regarding changes in total rewards strategy, new program design, and major plan modifications. Prepare clear written proposals and supporting business cases aligned with market trends, talent needs, and business objectives.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to support competitive offer design and workforce mobility programs.
• Provide total rewards expertise in M&A due diligence, modeling, and post-integration planning.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of rewards and benefits professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Business, or related field required; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits, including leadership responsibility.
• Experience within industrial, manufacturing, construction, or multi-site environments strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in executive compensation, incentive plan design, and benefits governance.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; experience with HRIS platforms (UKG preferred).
• Professional certifications such as CCP, CBP, or CEBS strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

As a Civil Works General Superintendent on the $3.3BN Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel Expansion Project (HRBT) in Virginia, you will schedule, coordinate, and supervise production and workforce engaged on your assigned area of the project.

• Supervises assigned project work and liaises between field engineering, estimating, and workforce to ensure
• project compliance with contract drawings and specifications.
• Plans work methods, materials, equipment needs, and work schedule for assigned project work. Reviews
• daily work schedule with direct reports, and provides input for weekly/monthly schedule updates based on

Qualifications and Skills:

Required:

• 7+ years of heavy civil construction experience (roads/bridges/marine/tunneling), with at least 3+ years of management experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills are required.
• Strong leadership capability with internal drive to mentor and grow internal talent.
• Advanced knowledge of the construction site equipment operation and maintenance
• requirements.
• Advanced knowledge of construction site safety protocols and proven ability to enforce the project safety programs.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret standards and contract-specific plans and specifications.

As the Tunnel Interior Structure Construction Manager for the $3.3BN Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel Expansion Project (HRBT) in Virginia, you will lead and carry out construction processes in accordance with the direction, policies, and objectives set by the Tunnel Construction Manager.

The primary responsibility of this position is to lead Superintendents in construction activities on the site – including planning, preparation, and execution. Position: Drill Operator

Travel: Regional, primarily VA sites

Pay Range: $28.00/hr- $38.00/hr (Based on experience and certifications)

We are currently seeking a Drill Shaft Caisson Operator to join our Geotechnical Division. Reporting to direct field supervision, the Caisson Operator is responsible for safely setting and operating caisson drill rigs, as well as inspecting machinery and equipment. Other tasks may include working with auger cast drills, micropiles, carrying materials and heavy objects, properly setting up concrete operations, cleaning of job site, and other job site related functions. This position works along with the entire Project Team to support the completion of assigned construction tasks and ensures all plans move forward to meet projected deadlines. The Geotechnical group provides comprehensive services for projects requiring foundations and earth retention systems. Work is performed outdoors year round.

This is a safety sensitive position requiring work on construction sites with various safety hazards inherent in heavy construction.

About the Company

We are working with a well-established custom home builder in Northern Virginia that is continuing to grow and looking to bring on an experienced Superintendent to manage high-end residential projects.

About the Role

This role is ideal for someone who has experience delivering custom homes from foundation through final completion and enjoys working closely with subcontractors, homeowners, and project teams to deliver exceptional homes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the construction of custom homes from start to completion
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors and trades
• Maintain project schedules and ensure homes are delivered on time
• Ensure quality control and attention to detail throughout the build
• Communicate with homeowners and internal teams during construction
• Lead jobsite safety and maintain organized sites

Project Types

• Custom homes ranging roughly 3,500 – 15,000+ SF
• High-end residential builds in McLean, Vienna, and Great Falls

Qualifications

• 10+ years of residential construction experience
• Experience building custom homes (highly preferred)
• Strong scheduling and subcontractor management skills
• Ability to manage projects independently from start to finish
• Experience delivering high-quality homes and maintaining strong client relationships

Pay range and compensation package

• Base salary around $100K
• $800/month vehicle allowance
