About the Position
LocumJobsOnline is working with Wellhart, LLC to find a qualified Emergency Medicine MD in Mount Vernon, Illinois, 62864!
We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for our client in Illinois for an assignment starting Apr 20, 2026. This role involves 7a-7p and 7p-7a shifts, focusing on comprehensive emergency care including ventilation management, intubation, C-line procedures, admissions, discharges, and observations within a high-volume emergency department supported by APPs and robust specialty backup.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in a hospital with an ER.
- Perform required procedures including Ventilation Management, Intubation, and C-Line insertion.
- Handle admissions, discharges, and observation cases.
- Collaborate with robust specialty backup, including Hospitalist, Surgery, Anesthesia, Radiology, Pathology, Critical Care, and Pulmonology, with additional support available at the main campus.
- Utilize APP support available from 12p-12a.
