- Shift Schedule: Multiple shifts available: 9p-7a, 7a-5p, 9a-6p, 11a-9p, 2p-12a
- Shift Duration: 10 hours (varied)

Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in emergency medicine (EM / ER physician experience preferred)
- MD or DO degree required
- Active and unrestricted medical license (state-appropriate PA licensing preferred)
- Ability to assess, stabilize, and treat a wide range of emergency and acute care cases
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient triage skills in a fast-paced ED environment
Responsibilities
- Assess and stabilize patients presenting with emergency conditions (airway, fractures, casting, surgical emergencies, ENT, orthopedic cases)
- Diagnose and treat acute medical and surgical emergencies in the Emergency Department
- Continuous patient evaluation, treatment, and documentation throughout the shift
- Consult and coordinate care across specialties and with on-call surgeons or specialists
- Manage patient flow, boarding, and department capacity to optimize ED throughput
- Accurate documentation and charting of patient encounters in the medical record
- Participate in patient handoff and clear communication with other providers and nursing staff

Cardiothoracic Surgery Responsibilities
- First assist in scheduled cardiothoracic surgical cases
- Participate in rotating on-call coverage for emergency off-hours cases
- Round on and manage patients in the hospital setting
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate patient care
- Perform endoscopic vein harvesting and other advanced procedures as required
- Divide and manage patient lists with the team, discuss cases with physicians, and complete patient sign-off
