What Youβll Do The Client Support Technician Intern will assist in setting up, maintaining, and supporting corporate owned client-level computer equipment installed and in use within the Colony Brands facilities.
The role includes supporting hardware and software troubleshooting and helps manage support ticket requests assigned via a centralized ticketing system.
In addition, you will be responsible for: β’ Assembly and configuration of PC / MAC hardware β’ Documentation and mentoring of the Help Desk β’ Client-level networking troubleshooting skills to assist with problem resolution including wireless technologies and remote access solutions β’ Windows 10 / 11 Imaging and/or patching skills utilizing Microsoft SCCM or equivalent tools β’ Apple OS Imaging and/or patching skills utilizing JAMF β’ End User Support for Mobile Phones / Tablets via Microsoft Intune β’ Citrix Client Troubleshooting β’ SCCM Client Troubleshooting β’ Microsoft E-Mail and Office Support via Office 365 β’ Printer / Copier / Audio Visual Troubleshooting and Support β’ Active Directory User Account / Group and Permission Support
In this role, you will share responsibility for monitoring, testing, troubleshooting, and supporting cloud systems to help ensure reliability, performance, and security.
In addition, you will also: β’ Support projects migrating on-premises applications to cloud based solutions.
β’ Perform daily checks, verify system health, and apply updates/patches.
β’ Assist with managing hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) platforms, preferably Nutanix, including compute, storage, and virtualization components.
β’ Develop scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Ansible Playbooks) to automate routine tasks and workflows.
β’ Assist in implementing security measures and ensuring adherence to policies and compliance.
β’ Build secure cloud solutions in public clouds such as Microsoft Azure and AWS.
β’ Monitor resource usage, optimize performance, and help manage cloud costs.
β’ Collaborate with senior engineers, developers, and other teams to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
β’ Help document infrastructure configurations, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
This position is not eligible for remote work and would require you to work onsite at our headquarters in Monroe, WI.
