POSITION SUMMARY:


Under the general supervision of the HR Director/Manager, assist, support, and administer a broad range of HR operational activities. Job Description

The Compliance and Privacy Manager oversees, in pertinent part, the following compliance risk areas: (i) general compliance and compliance program effectiveness; (ii) fraud, waste and abuse and Deficit Reduction Act of 2005 workforce member and contractor compliance; (iii) patient and employee confidentiality, organizational privacy, information governance, and data risk classification; (iv) accountable care organization compliance; (v) Medicare C & D/Medicare Advantage compliance program requirements; (vi) Federal healthcare program compliance; and (vii) other assigned risk areas identified through organizational experience, risk identification activities, or regulatory mandates.



  • The Manager will support the Director of Corporate Compliance to ensure implementation of appropriate policies and procedures, support compliance training, conduct investigations.
  • Perform compliance program effectiveness reviews based on the seven (7) elements of an effective compliance program as set forth in: (i) relevant U.S. Department of Health and Human Services compliance program guidance; (ii) U.S. Sentencing Commission Guidelines Manual; (iii) U.S. Department of Justice, Criminal Division, compliance program guidance; (iv) CMS Conditions of Participation; (v) Medicare Shared Savings Program Accountable Care Organization Compliance guidance and regulatory requirements; and (vi) Medicare C & D/Medicare Advantage compliance program requirements.
  • Maintain a system of reporting and ensure the integrity of all compliance investigations, direct and coordinate internal audits, and monitor HIPAA/Patient Privacy compliance.
  • The Manager ensures that the Compliance Program effectively promotes prevention, detection, and resolution of instances of improper conduct to ensure conformity to state or federal laws, regulatory requirements, hospital policies, patient privacy, IT Security or the standards of conduct.
  • The Manager will be responsible for following up on reported incidents of non-compliance, conduct and or coordinate internal investigations and prepare reports on the incidents and investigation findings.

  • Prepare PowerPoints and present educational or compliance-related topics to AH constituents.
  • Draft compliance and HIPAA-related policies and procedures, as well as policies and procedures related to other assigned risk areas.
  • Assist in conflict-of-interest reviews, evaluations, and determinations.
  • Assist in conflict-of-interest endorsement requests reviews.



Qualifications:


• Education: A Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school and admission to the bar to practice law in one of the 50 States (or Washington, D.C.) of the U.S. is required. The holding of a Master’s Degree in public health, healthcare, accounting, allied health, clinical-related studies, compliance, audit, computer science, finance, education, law, privacy, information security, information governance, or another field related to the responsibilities of the position at hand, is a plus.

• Certifications: Candidates who hold the “CCEP” or “CHC” designation from the Compliance Certification Board are strongly preferred. Any successful candidate who does not hold the “CHC” designation at the time of appointment will be required to obtain the same within 12 months of appointment. A successful candidate must obtain either the “CISA”, “CRISC”, or “AAIA” designation from ISACA within eighteen (18) months of employment.

Experience:


• Five years minimum of health care compliance experience, health care administration, legal, fraud, waste, and abuse; internal audit, organizational compliance, regulatory affairs or a filed related to the responsibilities of the position at hand, is preferred.

• Experience in conducting compliance investigations, legal internal investigations, or similar investigations is required;

• Managerial experience in a healthcare organization or related setting is preferred.

Technical:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Other Required Skills

• Demonstrated current knowledge of business ethics, legal and compliance risks.

• Advanced and highly developed communication and influencing skills.

This role provides hands-on experience in occupational health and safety practices within General Industry. As a member of the Safety team, the Occupational Safety and Health Intern is responsible for supporting and monitoring safety programs at Wakefern distribution centers. Interns will be working 37.5 hours a week.


What you will do

  • Support the implementation of safety programs and initiatives for the distribution center and retail sites as needed, within the scope of the Corporate Safety program
  • Assist in conducting workplace safety inspections and audits
  • Perform corrective action follow up to ensure continuous traction and successful closure
  • Help identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions; Collaborate with Safety Specialist and AP Investigators where needed (incident investigations, root cause analysis, and reporting).
  • Participate in safety training sessions and help develop training materials and recordkeeping.

  • Process invoices for portfolio properties on a regular and ongoing basis.
  • Draft, receive, prioritize, and distribute mail and telephone correspondence.
  • Prepare business expense reports and schedule/coordinate complex activities such as onsite & offsite.
  • Assist assigned Property Manager(s) with tenant, property owner, project developer, etc.
  • Dispatching maintenance personnel.
  • Audit tenant lease files and tenant insurance certificates to assure compliance.
  • Assist with various accounting tasks related to budgets, billing, Executive Summaries, property rent rolls, tenant rent statements, collections, etc.
  • Prepare and distribute delinquency reports, rent increase reports, Tenant and Vendor Contact List including emergency numbers, etc.
  • All other duties as assigned.


What’s Needed?

  • High school diploma or GED required - Strong preference for Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • 5-year Minimum experience in commercial real estate as a Property Administrator or equivalent position required.
  • Advanced MS Outlook, Word, and Excel required. Adobe Standard required.
  • YARDI experience preferred.
  • Must be very detail oriented and possess strong client-service, project management, and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Experience in reading and interpreting real estate leases/contracts is preferred
  • Valid Driver’s License required.

The Space Control Coordinator is responsible for managing vessel space allocation and ensuring optimal utilization of capacity across assigned service lanes. This role requires close coordination with Trade, Operations, Logistics, and Equipment teams to support accurate planning and maintain high utilization. Prior Ocean Carrier Space Control experience a plus.


Job description:

  • Verify and maintain vessel schedule and space related information in the space control platform.
  • Optimize all available allocations by strategically planning the vessels in close coordination with Trade, Operations, Logistics, and any other department involved, to maximize the space/weight allocations with full and empty containers.
  • Monitor booking activities and cargo materialization to ensure proper planning of the ship; proactively provide clear summary of the review to Trade Management and make suggestions to postpone or adjust bookings in advance.
  • Forecast loading figures (cargo and empty equipment) in close cooperation with Trade and Logistics departments, to provide best possible projections for each voyage.
  • Coordinate empty container planning with the Equipment Department to optimize full & empty container loading to achieve 100% TEU allocation utilization.
  • Calculate and report loading forecast for all US port based on customer & trade knowledge, statistical analysis, and cargo readiness information.
  • Support Commercial group and related departments by responding to queries related to space approvals and questions about routing solutions, transit times, and vessel schedules.
  • Assist with special projects assigned by management.


Qualification and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related major
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
  • Advanced skills including formatting, pivot tables, formulas, and VLOOKUP functions.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to meet strict vessel planning deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
