Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Possess a current valid driver's license
- Carry and use a firearm. Maintaining firearm proficiency is mandatory.
- Must be at least 21 years old at the time of application and under 40 at referral. Exceptions may apply for those with current or prior service in federal law enforcement positions covered by special retirement provisions. The Secret Service has determined that age is essential to the performance of this position.
- You must obtain a Top Secret Clearance and retain it during your career.

During a visit that can last up to one hour, Matrix providers review and observe a member's current health, medical history, medication adherence, social environment and other risks. This provides unmatched insight into a member's overall health and well-being that can be difficult to capture during routine office visits. The Matrix Comprehensive Health Assessment (CHA) helps to improve quality of care and allows us to potentially close multiple care gaps with a single visit. Our providers:
- Conduct adult / geriatric assessments to include medical history, diagnosis and treatment, health education, physician referrals, case management referrals, follow-up and clear documentation according to Matrix guidelines and protocols
- Administer and order point of care and lab-based testing as needed
- Work with physicians, case managers, social workers, family members, key caregivers, and ancillary medical personnel as appropriate
- Collaborate with Primary Care Physician (PCP) on patient education and follow up as necessary
- Provide services at the member's place of residence which can be in their homes or Skilled Nursing Facilities

About the Position

We are seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician for an 18-day assignment in Virginia, starting May 8, 2026. Our client requires Monday-Friday clinic coverage from 8 AM to 4:15 PM, where you will manage high-risk pregnancies, performing procedures such as amniocentesis and cerclage, and addressing conditions including pre-eclampsia, multiple pregnancies, and various fetal and maternal co-morbidities.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling.
- Conduct cerclage procedures (preferred).
- Manage cases involving pre-eclampsia, multiple pregnancies, and growth restriction.
- Address chromosomal abnormalities and congenital abnormalities.
- Oversee patients with pre-term labor, hypertension, and thrombophilia.
- Provide care for those with genetic disorders and birth defects.
- Manage both vaginal birth and cesarean birth.

Qualifications:

Talkiatry is a clinician-led, virtual psychiatry practice built to combine the stability of a hospital practice with the clinical autonomy of private practice.
This role is designed for psychiatrists who want:
- Predictable, W-2 compensation and benefits
- Flexible scheduling, control over their schedule, session structure, and patient population
- Minimal administrative burden in a fully remote, outpatient model
- 100% remote, outpatient psychiatry
- Lower to moderate acuity populations (ex. anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, OCD, PTSD)
- Patient population across the lifespan: children & adolescents (treated by board-certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrists only), adults, and geriatric patients
- Standard session lengths (60-minute intakes, 30-minute follow ups)
- No inpatient, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), partial hospitalization care or crisis coverage
- In-house referral network to therapists
- Full operational support including scheduling, billing, intake coordination, and licensing
- Control over schedule and weekly availability
- Session length within established clinical standards
- Patient population, balanced to individual criteria and preferences
- Clinical decision-making without pressure to shorten visits or increase volume
- Employer-paid health, dental, vision insurance (up to 100% of premiums)
- Malpractice coverage (occurrence-based, 100% employer-paid)
- 401(k) match with employer match and Day 1 vesting

Full-time and part-time W-2 employment Total annual on-target earnings of $300k - $350k +, consisting of: - Base salary - Monthly productivity incentive (guaranteed during initial 6-month onboarding period)
