Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavioral support plans for children with diverse needs.
- Supervise and mentor Behavior Specialists, ensuring best practices and professional growth.
- Collaborate closely with families, schools, and community agencies to coordinate care.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, licensing, and program standards.
- Provide training and support in behavioral interventions and trauma-informed practices.
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with agency and funding requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in behavior intervention programs, with supervision responsibilities.
- Knowledge of Positive Behavior Supports (PBS), Trauma-Informed Care, and ABA strategies.
- Certification as BCaBA or BCBA is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to adapt to new software systems.
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese.
- Experience in residential care settings or with specialized populations.
- Additional certifications such as CPR, First Aid, and non-violent crisis intervention (required within 3 months of hire).
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Master’s degree in a related field strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in behavioral assessment, program development, and staff supervision.
- Proven success working with children with special needs.
Other Requirements:
- Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed.
- Ability to support physical interventions and manage crisis situations safely.
- Willingness to travel locally for program coverage and stakeholder meetings.
