The Principal Product Engineer will learn the technical aspect of key product in the Andover, MA factory.  The Product Engineer will be product centric technical liaison, focused on driving collaboration across work centers and all disciplines to resolve technical issues, improve efficiencies and optimize overall product yield to ensure high-quality and cost-effective products and systems. You will utilize data analysis, CORE methodologies, and technical understanding to maximize overall product test yield, efficiency, and value.

What You Will Do

• Address major yield and technical issues highlighted by tech leads and factory operation managers.

• Perform data analysis and provide direction for overall product yield and performance improvement.

• Facilitate collaboration across manufacturing work centers and design engineering.

• Empower production test engineer to resolve complex failures through data driven troubleshooting technique.

• Establish technical understanding of the product architecture, subassemblies, and test requirement.

• Partner with test and design engineering team to develop sustaining solution to technical problems with root cause and corrective action identification.  

• Requires direct support of manufacturing test activities and spending a large amount of time directly on the factory floor in support of a highly demanding dynamic environment.

Qualifications You Must Have  

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and typically a minimum 8 years of relevant experience

• 4+ years in Production testing/troubleshooting

• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

The Integrated Systems Department supports Raytheon by providing world-class weapon systems engineering. Domain expertise includes radar systems, effector systems, battle management, command and control, network design, battlespace integration, and interoperability for both domestic and international customers.

You will work alongside motivated engineers who are responsible for conducting systems engineering studies and trades; supporting system requirements definition and analysis; and contributing to algorithm development, integration, test, and evaluation.

What You Will Do

• Provide technical oversight and management for a variety of Systems Engineering efforts

• Concept and requirements development (including decomposition and flowdown) within a mature product-line

• Concept of Operations (CONOPS) development and design

• Algorithm optimization and development

• Multi-disciplinary development efforts across the kill-chain for an Air and Missile Defense System

• Collaboration with customer to bring new capabilities to the warfighter

• Functional analysis of real world and test data; trade studies to bring advanced features to fielded system

• Support and lead Internal and External Program and Design Reviews

Naval Power is seeking a highly motivated Production Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) for the SPY-6 Array production program's Array Build, Integration & Testing. This position reports to the SPY-6 Production Array Program Manager and leads the execution efforts of the recurring production sell-off. This lead will be responsible for ensuring that equipment delivery commitments are made on time and within budget, focusing on Array Build Integration & Testing, and RHS assembly builds, including Mechanical Structures & RMA Chassis material. They are responsible for removing barriers and defining solutions that support the Production IPT and program.

What You Will Do:

As an Control Account Manager, you'll be assigned to one or more LTAMDS programs and will be responsible for providing innovative and trusted solutions that optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the Land and Air Defense products and services over their life cycle. As a Deployment Fielding and Sustainment (DFS) CAM, the successful candidate will support the DFS program Leads, LTAMDS Program Control Account Managers, and Program leads in the successful completion of monthly Earned Value Management (EVM) inputs, reporting and analysis, monthly Budget Change Requests (BCRs), facilitate EAC and LRE inputs, and demonstrate the ability to perform meaningful analysis and effective communication to drive predictable results. Job Summary:

An exciting opportunity exists at Raytheon for a Semiconductor Dry Etch Engineering Lead to join our III-V compound semiconductor foundry team fabricating gallium nitride and gallium arsenide-based devices within the Advanced Microelectronics Solutions (AMS) Department.  This role requires a broad understanding of microelectronics processing and subject matter expertise in one or more dry etch related techniques including plasma ashing/descum, reactive ion etching (RIE), and inductively coupled etching (ICP).

As a member of the AMS Department, the individual in this role will serve as the dry etch processes lead engineer and collaborate with the various engineering work centers in the III-V semiconductor wafer foundry. The candidate will lead and assist projects in process sustainment, capital allocation, directing process and capital qualifications, improving cycle time, improving product yield, developing new data driven controls, and driving overall wafer movement efficiency.

The chosen candidate is expected to be an innovative and creative thinker capable of probing issues and reaching solutions both independently and in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of various microelectronics processing techniques beyond deposition, including wet and dry etching, lift-off techniques, photolithography, metrology, process characterization, foundry data integrity, and large data analysis methods.

The candidate is expected to work well in large and small, cross-functional teams, understand foundry processes, determine capacity limitations, improve overall equipment effectiveness, identify yield improvement opportunities, gather sponsorship and team resources, and execute on continuous improvement activities. Presence on the foundry floor is essential for quick resolution of technical issues as well as the ability to work with operations, facilities, equipment, and quality teams. Job Summary:

The RF Microelectronics/Module Design & Foundry Services Department at Raytheon in Andover, MA, is currently seeking a Principal Electro-Mechanical Engineer to develop leading-edge miniaturized 3DHI sensors and systems to enable future generation technologies across Raytheon.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated "self-starter" who will apply strong mechanical and electrical engineering skills to implement innovative solutions to challenging design criteria. They will be involved in research efforts including initial concepts, advanced technology demonstrations, and will have the opportunity to follow product development from beginning to end, including documentation, fabrication, assembly, and test/delivery of a range of microelectronics products. This position requires strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to maintain positive relationships & satisfaction with Program leadership (Engineering and Program Management). Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and materials and prior experience working with contract manufacturers (OSATs) is highly desired.

The role requires knowledge of high-density microelectronic packaging designs including Interposers, organic substrates, wafer and chip bumping and general knowledge in areas of electronic components/devices such as ASICs and FPGAs, design of electronic packaging chassis and structures, interconnects (connectors/cables), and thermal management design of high-density electronic systems and electronic enclosures. An exciting opportunity exists for a Sr. Principal RF Module Design/Development Engineer to join our Module Development Section with the Advanced Microelectronics Solutions (AMS) Department as a technical lead. The AMS department designs, fabricates, and tests state-of-the-art Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuits (MMICs) in our on-site foundry. These chips are designed into custom modules to support multiple programs and enhance the capabilities of next generation radar systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the technical design and development of RF/microwave modules containing GaAs- and GaN-based monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) products. This would be in active support of existing technologies in production as well as next generation products in development.
