Position Overview:The purpose of this position is to perform the primary functions of a nurse in assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care in the Emergency Room.
Essential Job Functions:- Plan, prioritize, and provide proficient, age-specific and developmentally/specialty appropriate nursing care by applying advanced specialty clinical nursing knowledge and skills and for ensuring the comfort and safety of patients/families
- Proficiently and consistently complete accurate, concise and legible documentation on medical records
- Observe and record signs, symptoms and behaviors including the physiological status of patients
- Presents proposed revision of interventions and desired outcomes
- Maintain patient's privacy and confidentiality of information and records at all times
- Follow physician’s orders in the delivery of nursing care
- Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing in accordance with established policies and procedures, as well as COLA and CLIA regulations
- Adhere to required infection control, isolation procedures and aseptic techniques in the delivery of patient care
- Perform admission, discharge and transfer procedures
- Participate in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care given
- Assemble equipment and supply for various diagnostic or treatment procedures in the specialty service area; performs or assists others with procedures or treatments. Handle care in accordance with legal, hospital/facility, departmental policies and procedures, and established standards of nursing care and practice, as defined by the Board of Nursing of that State
- Perform all Quality Assessment activities assigned and document
- Attend staff meetings or other company sponsored or mandated meetings as required
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Associate’s Degree, required; BSN, preferred
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse without sanctions, required
- 2+ years full-time RN experience in ER or other comparable experience, required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association, required; ENPC certification from ENA may be substituted for PALS certification; TNCC preferred
- Position requires fluency in English; written and oral communication

How you’ll make an impact in this role
- Prepare and position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
- Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Observe patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity. Monitor protocols and recommends updates or refinements as warranted.
- Able to perform all specialized imaging procedures such as angio, complex vascular and nonvascular interventional and therapeutic procedures, along with assisting the Radiologist/PA.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Vascular-Intrvn Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 15 Months (1 1/4 year) of hire date or job transfer date required. General Radiography required in addition to Vascular Interventional Radiology required. State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board required. General Radiology and state licensure required by hire or job transfer date.
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Communicate with divisional partners to determine product disposition.
Maintain communication with branch personnel and divisional partners.
Operate material handling equipment (e.g., reach truck, order picker) to manage inventory.
Assist with item adjustments and other inventory-related tasks.
Prioritize and perform recall activities, including stock checks, deviations, relabels, product rework, and pedigree verification.
Coordinate project/rework areas and resources.
Maintain daily reports of held stock using SAP, Excel, and other systems.
Ensure compliance with SOPs and regulations; communicate with management to address non-conformances.
Maintain hazardous waste logs and perform weekly audits.
Use computer systems for communication, reporting, and tracking project time.
Recommend methods to increase efficiency.
Ensure shipments are from licensed vendors and maintain electronic logs.
Perform in-process and final inspections; complete inspection documentation.
Operate test equipment and perform measurements.
Identify defects and initiate non-conforming material reports.
Communicate effectively with quality assurance and production groups.
Verify and approve line start-up and equipment requirements.
Participate in continual improvement and customer satisfaction efforts.
Read and interpret engineering instructions and other documents.
Comply with quality systems, GMP, GDP, OSHA, and company regulations.
Review manufacturing/production documents to ensure accuracy.
Perform line clearance procedures for product release.
Review and approve Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and substitutions.

The anticipated salary range for this position: $21.25
- $30.75 Hourly The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities.
Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
