Position Overview:

The purpose of this position is to perform the primary functions of a nurse in assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care in the Emergency Room.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Plan, prioritize, and provide proficient, age-specific and developmentally/specialty appropriate nursing care by applying advanced specialty clinical nursing knowledge and skills and for ensuring the comfort and safety of patients/families
  • Proficiently and consistently complete accurate, concise and legible documentation on medical records
  • Observe and record signs, symptoms and behaviors including the physiological status of patients
  • Presents proposed revision of interventions and desired outcomes
  • Maintain patient's privacy and confidentiality of information and records at all times
  • Follow physician’s orders in the delivery of nursing care
  • Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing in accordance with established policies and procedures, as well as COLA and CLIA regulations
  • Adhere to required infection control, isolation procedures and aseptic techniques in the delivery of patient care
  • Perform admission, discharge and transfer procedures
  • Participate in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care given
  • Assemble equipment and supply for various diagnostic or treatment procedures in the specialty service area; performs or assists others with procedures or treatments. Handle care in accordance with legal, hospital/facility, departmental policies and procedures, and established standards of nursing care and practice, as defined by the Board of Nursing of that State

Basic Qualifications:
  • Associate’s Degree, required; BSN, preferred

How you’ll make an impact in this role

 

  • Prepare and position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Observe patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity. Monitor protocols and recommends updates or refinements as warranted.
  • Able to perform all specialized imaging procedures such as angio, complex vascular and nonvascular interventional and therapeutic procedures, along with assisting the Radiologist/PA.
What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Vascular-Intrvn Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 15 Months (1 1/4 year) of hire date or job transfer date required. General Radiography required in addition to Vascular Interventional Radiology required. State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board required. General Radiology and state licensure required by hire or job transfer date.
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Identify, recommend and implement improvement items in the maintenance and manufacturing areas of the organization to eliminate waste and non-conforming product.

Assist in the preparation and execution of the Preventative Maintenance Plan.

Ensure compliance of equipment, products and procedures to the Quality System for FDA and cGMP Practices.

Responsible for safety training, personnel training and equipment trouble-shooting for both the manufacturing filling process and the physical plant of the operation.

Review and approve monthly expenditures by the maintenance department.

Oversee maintenance activity and cost outsourced to contractors.

May perform Maintenance Technician duties as required.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Education High school diploma or equivalent.

Work Experience At least 5 years general maintenance experience.

Willing to work weekends or other overtime hours as business needs dictate.

Job Summary Under minimal supervision, the QC Inspector II oversees quality projects, ensures compliance with Medline SOPs, and maintains product integrity at the distribution center.

Responsibilities include investigating and documenting held finished goods, managing holds and releases, completing rework assignments, inspecting raw materials and finished goods using various methods, recording inspection results, providing product disposition, ensuring inventory control, performing final inspections, and ensuring compliance with quality procedures and company policies.

Job Description MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Apply and remove holds in the system and Q-Tag.

Assess and repackage inbound damaged goods.

Communicate with divisional partners to determine product disposition.

Maintain communication with branch personnel and divisional partners.
