The Position
- An Interim Telemetry Manager is needed to lead a 34-bed cardiac telemetry/stroke unit in a well-supported hospital environment.
- Reporting to the Inpatient Nursing Director, this leader will oversee 73 FTEs.
- Key responsibilities include overseeing unit operations, ensuring staff accountability, maintaining survey readiness, and focusing on improving quality indicators such as falls, VTEs, and hospital-acquired infections.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telemetry or ICU settings, with a leadership style that is approachable, kind, and firm. Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical.
- Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- Active RN license required.
- Minimum of five years of relevant clinical experience in telemetry or ICU, with prior management experience in a unionized hospital setting strongly preferred.
Compensation Details
- Compensation Range: $160,000 to $170,000 annually.
- The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.

How you make a difference:
The Physician Assistant provides comprehensive medical care to inmates under the supervision of medical leadership. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating acute and emergency complaints, participating in administrative meetings, and supporting cross-coverage needs.
