Exciting opportunity to own research operations for this international market information provider – where you'll oversee data quality globally!
Reporting to the group's research head and collaborating with international research/analyst teams, as Research Operations Lead you'll play an integral role in business transformation, building out and steering 'operational command' to essentially ensure/standardise global research performance.
Through establishing/improving dashboards, research operational metrics etc, you'll develop scalable processes that are embedded into how research runs on a daily basis. You'll become the 'custodian' of data quality and methodological consistency across global teams, effectively overseeing the group's research data dictionary, definitions, and methodology standards. In so doing this will not only improve the group's market intelligence output to clients – from market forecasting to greater depth reporting/analysis – but also enhance actionable insights within the business for senior stakeholders to reliably act upon. Additionally you'll naturally work closely with product and commercial teams as services and capabilities continue to advance.
It's very likely you'll have gained significant expertise in change management and/or operations within a market information/data intelligence firm or related, and are now seeking to take some greater ownership. Position Overview
ProspectBlue is seeking a Risk & Claims Analyst for their client in the logistics and transportation industry. This individual will play a key role in investigating cargo and equipment incidents, managing claims, and supporting overall risk mitigation efforts across the organization.
This position is highly cross-functional and requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
• Investigate cargo-related incidents by reviewing shipment details including commodity, packaging, weight, hazardous classification, and container history
• Analyze documentation, photos, and operational records to determine root cause and responsible parties
• Manage cargo claims from initial review through resolution, including validation, coordination with stakeholders, and invoicing
• Coordinate third-party surveys and ensure findings are incorporated into claims evaluations
• Partner with internal teams across operations, customer service, equipment, and finance to resolve issues and improve processes
• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and external partners regarding claims and investigation outcomes
• Ensure compliance documentation is accurate and up to date, including insurance, DOT/SCAC registrations, and interchange agreements
• Identify trends in incidents and provide insights to support operational improvements and risk mitigation
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Experience in logistics, transportation, cargo claims, or risk management preferred
• Exposure to ocean freight, NVOCC/liner operations, or supply chain environments is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn internal systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

The role of Plant Foreman provides leadership of quarry operations for our night shifts at our Richmond locations. Provide general supervision for and perform a variety of tasks involved with the extraction, crushing, conveying and stockpiling of aggregate stone products. Supervise the service, maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery, and associated facilities. Schedule time and resources for special projects within area of responsibility. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
The hours for this position are 4pm-4am Monday-Thursday
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
50% of Job: Team Leadership
- Provides daily leadership and direction to pit and plant associates
- Supervise and execute production, maintenance, and project goals
- Follow Luck Stone quality control programs and ensure regulatory standards are met
- Ensure Luck Stone aesthetics standards are met
- Proactively maintain safe operations and compliance with regulations
- Represent Luck Stone with neighbors, customers, and inspectors
- Act as back-up to Plant Manager as needed
30% of the Job: Technical
- Work with Mine Planning and Structural Engineering to affect continual improvement and efficiencies in area of responsibility
- Represent location by participating on special committees and projects
- Continuing development of self and direct reports through training, succession planning and developmental opportunities
- Ensure plant and mobile equipment are maintained to company standards
20% of Job: Business Acumen
- Track and record production data using current software systems
- Maintain training and regulatory documentation
- Manage and facilitate the time management system
- Work with vendors and inventory specialist to stay current with technical and maintenance products
- Provide input to annual budgets and monthly forecast updates
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree preferred
Work Experience: Two years plant operations supervisory experience within quarry operations or heavy construction industry
Required Licenses & Certifications: DMME Foreman Certification or Certified Competent Person or the ability to get certified
