MaineHealth Behavioral Health (MHBH) seeks a Consult-Liaison Psychiatrist to join our growing behavioral health team in Biddeford. In this dynamic role, you?ll serve as the primary psychiatric consultant to the Emergency Department and medical/surgical units, working closely with crisis clinicians, hospitalists, and ED providers to evaluate patients and guide timely, effective behavioral health care.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate of Allopathic or Osteopathic Medical School. Completion of internship and psychiatric residency and/or fellowship training.
- Current or eligible license as a physician by the Maine Board of Licensure in Medicine.
- Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or be eligible for examination by the American Board as documented Board Certified or board eligible in general psychiatry.
- Current DEA Registration Certificate.
- 3+ years' experience inclusive residency and/or fellowship training.
- Meet other credentialing criteria defined in medical staff by-laws
