We are excited to welcome a new Gastroenterologist to join our team of two other Gastroenterologists and two Nurse Practitioners. This position offers a mix of outpatient and operative work conveniently located adjacent to the hospital. We are looking for a Generalist, but ERCP or EUS skills are a plus. Weekday inpatient consults will initially be handled by an APRN, and you will only need to go to the hospital if requested. Our shared call schedule is 1:3, providing a good work-life balance.

MaineHealth Gastroenterology is seeking a Full-Time (32 hrs wk) Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA);experience in a hospital setting with either GI specific care or related surgical or hospital medicine experience is desired, although new graduates may be considered.
Maine Medical Center's Digestive Health Program provides a multidisciplinary approach to the care of patients with benign and malignant disease of the digestive system. In addition to the APPs, our care team includes gastroenterologists, endoscopy nurses, support staff, and referring providers.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree required in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies.
