General Summary of Position

Administers roentgen rays and radioactive substances to patients. Operates x-ray equipment develops film prepare patient's room equipment supplies and medications. Provides patient services using imaging modalities.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare room equipment medicine and materials as needed for patients.
- Cleans and disinfects x-ray room and equipment.
- Prepare barium preparation and other chemical mixture for x-rays.
- Prepare patient for x-rays explains procedures transfers patient to table position patient and assists patient at end of procedure.
- Follow prescribed techniques in administrating general and specific x-rays. Adjusts equipment determines proper voltage current and desired exposure time. Arranges immobilization and support devices to obtain position of patient and adjusts the lead shield and selects proper film.
- Radiographs all incoming patients.
- Observes patient and machine during procedures and reports unusual occurrences and records patient's condition.
- Routinely maintains stock supplies and performs general office duties such as writing reports.
- Assists chief technologist in maintaining radiographic technique charts.
- Transports patients
- Follow infection control guidelines applicable to the section.
- Efficiently takes mobile x-ray unit to patient's room or emergency room.
- Works holidays weekends and takes call as necessary.

Minimal Qualifications
Education
- Associate's degree in Radiology required or
- Bachelor's degree in Radiology required
Licenses and Certifications
- Maryland State License required and
- ARRT Registered with ARRT required

As a Radiology Technologist, you will perform clinical and administrative duties in the MedStar Health Settings consistent with policies & procedures. Works under the supervision of a physician and performs patient intake, standing orders or protocols, venipuncture, laboratory testing and patient follow up. Will also administer oral, IM, SC, or intradermal medications when ordered by a provider, after demonstrating competency to the Clinical Professional Development Specialist or designee. Clinical Care Specialists (CCSs) certified as Radiologic Technologists also perform and transmit X-ray diagnostic images. This position documents as appropriate in the medical record and supports optimal patient flow.

Primary Duties:
- Adheres to MedStar Health Code of Conduct and its Compliance plan; complies with governmental and accreditation guidelines, completing all scheduled training including, but not limited to, safety, infection control, OSHA, CPR (Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation), EMR (Electronic Medical Record), general compliance, harassment, and service. Cleans, stocks, and sterilizes equipment in addition to cleaning and preparing patient rooms for care delivery. Delivers patient care consistent with policy and with high regard for patient/ employee safety and quality of care.
- Embraces new technology and use of the electronic health record. Manages patient flow with consistent and frequent communication with patients/family and genuine regard for their time and comfort. Performs other testing and care consistent with the scope of the MedStar Health practices including, but not limited to, spirometry/ PFTs, patient vitals and BMI, EKGs, vision and hearing test, splinting, and general patient care under the supervision of the medical provider. Performs patient follow up calls for lab tests, patient experience, and clinical results in accordance with policy and in a professional manner.
- Performs venipuncture and selected patient and laboratory testing (point of care); initiates care pathways in accordance with policy. Performs x-rays in accordance with medical provider orders; forwards images to the appropriate radiologist for overreads; maintains x-ray equipment and adheres to safety standards. Promotes an atmosphere of respect toward patients, families, vendors, employers, and co-workers. Communicates professionally.
- Provides care consistent with MedStar's mission, vision, and values and in a manner that engenders patient confidence and loyalty by exceeding expectations. Serves as a patient escort throughout the care process and assists in patient discharge, assuring clarity for the patient or family member(s). Supports new clinical and service initiatives; seeks opportunities to improve care and the patient experience.
- Supports other members of the team during downtime or bottlenecks in patient processing. Understands and participates in basic computer and patient intake skills at the front desk. Supports the medical provider in patient examination, testing and education. Under medical provider supervision, prepares and administers oral medications and injections limited to intradermal, subcutaneous, and intramuscular after demonstrating competency to the Clinical Professional Development Specialist or designee.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree.
- Completion of an approved R.T. program.
- Externship in a medical or ambulatory health setting.
- 2 years of medical office experience preferred.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technology) Certification.
- Maryland, Virginia, or DC State License.

Strategy Manager Job Description: HITT Contracting is seeking a highly motivated and organized Strategy Manager to support the execution and advancement of the company’s enterprise strategy through a portfolio of strategic initiatives.
This role operates at the center of HITT’s Strategy System and is responsible for maintaining the enterprise initiative portfolio—developing and managing the initiative tracking system, monitoring progress, and ensuring strategic initiatives continue advancing with clarity, structure, and momentum.
The Strategy Manager reports to the Executive Business Partner and works closely with executive sponsors to drive progress across HITT’s strategic initiative portfolio.
This role partners with leaders across the organization to help structure initiatives, clarify objectives and key assumptions, and ensure alignment between strategic intent and operational execution.
The Strategy Manager establishes initiative cadence, coordinates with cross-functional teams, and develops the analysis and materials needed to advance initiatives—from researching emerging ideas and refining assumptions to outlining potential investment implications and preparing proposal materials for executive and board-level discussions.
Through this work, the Strategy Manager helps ensure initiatives continue advancing and do not stall due to lack of clarity, coordination, or momentum.

Collaborate with operational leadership and the Operations Chief of Staff team to align initiative tracking and reporting across strategic and operational priorities.
Monitor initiative outcomes to evaluate performance, capture lessons learned, and inform future strategic decisions.
Support leadership in evaluating the strategic impact of major enterprise initiatives and investments.
System & Process Management Develop, own, and maintain the strategic initiative tracking system used to monitor portfolio progress and decisions.
Implement and manage a project management platform to support initiative tracking and reporting.
Establish and maintain meeting cadence with initiative sponsors and key stakeholders.
Support preparation of enterprise strategy updates and portfolio progress summaries for executive leadership and board reporting.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, construction management, or a related field preferred.
Previous experience in construction, real estate, or the built environment preferred.
7–12 years of professional experience in strategy, program management, or a related analytical role.
Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives or enterprise-level projects.
Experience with project management or work tracking tools (Asana).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to organize and translate insights into clear materials and recommendations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear and concise materials for leadership audiences.
Highly organized with demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
Comfortable working in evolving or ambiguous environments while bringing structure to complex initiatives.
