The Associate Director of Events & Marketing leads the organization's public-facing efforts to build awareness, engagement, and support. This position oversees fundraising and community events, manages the marketing and communications strategy, and ensures a cohesive brand identity across all platforms. The Associate Director supervises the Content & Marketing Manager and collaborates with Philanthropy to align event strategy, sponsorships, and storytelling that advances the mission.

Key Roles

• Plan, manage, and execute all organizational fundraising and community events from concept through post-event evaluation, ensuring strong attendance and positive ROI.
• Lead the annual marketing and communications strategy, including brand positioning, messaging, and multi-channel campaign planning.
• Supervise and mentor the Content & Marketing Manager; set goals, provide feedback, and support professional development.
• Manage vendor and venue relationships, event budgets, timelines, run-of-show documents, and logistics; ensure quality and safety standards.
• Develop sponsorship packages and fulfillment plans; coordinate with Philanthropy on corporate partnerships and recognition deliverables.
• Build and maintain an annual marketing calendar; oversee promotional campaigns, media partnerships, and community outreach opportunities.
• Ensure consistency of messaging and visual identity across print, digital, and event materials; uphold brand standards and approvals.
• Represent the organization at community events and networking opportunities to expand reach and cultivate strategic partnerships.
• Track and report marketing and event performance metrics (e.g., attendance, engagement, lead sources, conversion, media coverage).
• Coordinate internal communications as needed to ensure staff alignment on campaigns, events, and organizational messaging.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, nonprofit management, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of progressive experience in events, marketing/communications, or related nonprofit/public-facing roles; 1–3 years supervising staff or leading teams.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver successful events, manage budgets, and coordinate multiple stakeholders under tight timelines.
• Strong grasp of branding and marketing fundamentals, including content planning, email marketing, social media strategy, and basic web/analytics.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills; calm, solutions-oriented leadership in fast-paced environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; confident in public representation and partner relationships.
• Proficiency with common tools (e.g., Microsoft/Google suite, project management tools, email/social platforms, basic design tools).
• Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as required for events and community engagement.

Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site role located in Berkeley, CA. The IT Associate will Install, maintain and configure hardware and software systems according to company policies. Troubleshoot and repair network, hardware and software components. Perform routine maintenance and inspection of network and server systems. Administer and maintain Google Workspace and other company related software programs as assigned.

• Manage and maintain server hardware, storage solutions, and network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Manage user lifecycle processes, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and access control.
• Support and secure endpoints across macOS and Windows environments.
• Support processes and systems for asset inventory and management for hardware, software, and subscription services
• Support the onboarding process of new employees to include system setup, adding accounts to the AD infrastructure, and shipping computers and peripherals to employees
• Support IT projects to completion with direction from the Director of Laboratory Information Systems
• Supports issuing new computer hardware and the disposition of end-of-life equipment
• Supports IT requirements through direct employee and guest support for remote and on-site staff
• Perform other related duties as required and identified in goals set by the Director of Laboratory Information Systems or CEO.

    Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in system administration, network administration or related field, ideally within a healthcare or similarly regulated environment.
• Demonstrated competence with Microsoft 365 / Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, and MDM solutions
• Familiarity with Google Workspace
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• A+/Network+/Security+ Certification is preferred

We are seeking a hands-on, field-driven Foreman to lead crews across environmental construction and demolition projects. This role is ideal for a strong journeyman leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, values safety, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work on schedule and on budget.

If you have experience in environmental excavation, grading, demolition, asbestos abatement, or system installations, this is an opportunity to lead from the front.

What You’ll Do

• Direct field personnel, subcontractors, equipment, and material flow
• Interpret project drawings and specifications; perform layout and inspection
• Plan and implement weekly and daily schedules
• Determine crew size based on scope and timeline
• Track productivity, quality, and budget performance
• Develop alternate work plans when delays arise
• Enforce site-specific safety programs and conduct daily safety huddles
• Implement QA/QC requirements and submit required documentation
• Identify out-of-scope work and changed conditions
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Client Representatives
• Maintain field payroll records, material tracking, change orders, and progress reports

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years’ experience as a qualified journeyman in environmental or demolition construction
• Strong background in environmental excavation, grading, demolition, or abatement
• Proven leadership of field crews and subcontractors
• Working knowledge of safety regulations and field compliance
• 40-Hour HAZWOPER (preferred)
• OSHA 30 (preferred)
• Additional safety certifications a plus

The Opportunity

• Applies knowledge of first aid procedures to assist physician/advanced provider in treatment of the patient, including changing dressings and applying bandages.
• Provides accurate, legal, and ethical documentation when performing hands-on patient care.
• Follows standards and procedures to maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment.
• Follows equipment operating instructions to maintain proper operation and functioning; notifies Medical Director of equipment malfunctions.

Required Experience and Competencies

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One (1) year of experience as a Wound Care Technician required.
• A combination of education and experience that demonstrates attainment of the required competencies may be considered.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Medical Assistant or Certified Emergency Medical Technician required.
• Healthcare experience in an urgent care or primary care setting preferred.
• Knowledge of clinical compliance.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members, including educating them on proper documentation.
• Ability to maintain accurate records.
• Ability to follow facility and OSHA safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to uphold Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) privacy regulations.
• Ability to follow privacy policies regarding Protected Health Information (PHI) and HIPAA set forth in the Privacy Policy Manual.
• Ability to report for assigned/confirmed shifts punctually and reliably.
• Numerical aptitude.

We are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $28.08 - $35.10 per hour, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This position is also eligible to participate in our annual corporate Success Sharing bonus program, which is based on the company’s annual performance.
