-Plan machining steps by studying job traveler, blueprints, materials, and specifications.

-Determine the best tooling for processing and create tool sheet.

-Program mills and lathes using cam software.

-Optimize programs to ensure maximum efficiency on both new and existing jobs.

-Develop machining methods or routings to manufacture parts to meet customer specifications (drawings, 3D models, material specifications, etc.).

-Estimate cycle times for machining operations.

-Design fixturing and specify tooling for developed machining methods.

-Lead a team of machinists.

-Work towards continuous improvement on repeat jobs in their department.

-Maintain an approachable demeanor towards those under their charge.

-Conducts or supervise training of those under their charge.

-Conducts interviews and assists in staffing decisions for their department.

-Reads, interprets, and understands work orders, blueprints, and work instructions.

-Able to pass this information on to those under their charge, as well.

-Verify revision levels of programs on repeat jobs.

-Provide setup sheets with photographs and accurate work instructions for setup of repeat jobs.

-Operates machine tool to manufacture parts to print specifications as needed.

-Notifies management of incorrect process or time standards on route sheets (work instructions).

-Assist with job quoting as required.

-Attend and participate in daily shop floor meeting.

-Signs off on route sheets and fills out inspection reports verifying conformance of parts.

-Notifies QC and/ or supervisors of non-conforming parts.

-Works safely and immediately reports any unsafe condition.

-Follows production schedules but offers suggestions to scheduler for requested deviations to the schedule.

-All other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

-5+ years of professional working experience within a machining/job shop based environment

-Ability to read and interpret blueprints and complex GD&T Symbols

-Ability to setup, run and program on the machine for a horizontal milling machine

-Ability to create offline programs utilizing CAD/CAM software (MasterCAM or GibbsCAM)

What you will do

In this role you will be the Complex Security Service Manager for our team of 11 members. Responsible for Service customer account leadership, including Labor and Material growth and execution of the Service business, for the team’s customer base. Drives profitability and productivity of the team. Manages customer relationship development and satisfaction. Responsible for employee development and retention and for safety program compliance.

• How you will do it
• Sets and monitors goals for customer account gross margin delivery and profitability, including Planned Services Agreements and Labor & Materials (L&M) work. Drives L&M growth through Technicians and Team Leads. Leads the execution efforts of assigned Service business to include warranty-related customer issues.
• Responsible for procuring and mainlining fleet and tools inventory.
• Ensures consistency of delivery systems through supervision and audits of Technicians, Customer Service Agent and others who are part of the service delivery process.
• Reviews and approves all L&M quotations.
• Responsible for budgeting, forecasting, accounts payables/receivables.
• Responsible for maintaining appropriate staffing levels to accommodate existing and new business needs, hiring, training and transitioning new employees as well as the day-to-day performance of the service team, conducts formal performance reviews, and all related issues.
• Responsible for safety performance and program compliance.

What we look for

Required

• Technical school training or equivalent experience in the Security or building controls industry.
• Three or more years of management experience in a similar service deliverable environment.
• Strong ability to prioritize work activities for the team, scheduling, and lead a diverse team.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, negotiating skills.
• Demonstrated competence in writing and verbal communication skills.
• Basic financial accounting experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS office products and basic Windows environment.

• Diploma in Electronic or Mechanical Systems.

• Five plus years in a service management role directing a similar service deliverable team.

• Join forces with SRE and development teams to find new and creative ways to reduce the occurrence of vulnerabilities at scale.
• Build repeatable/reusable security processes and frameworks.
• Review quality issues and work towards detecting security flaws both obvious and discrete.
• Assist with scoping prospective projects, participating in projects from kickoff through "definition of done" via end-to-end ownership.
• Use your industry experience to own and drive resolution and retest complex security events, policy questions and technical security risks.

Your experience should include...

• 7+ years of progressive security engineering experience across Security Architecture, Cryptography, Network, Cloud, Mobile, and Web Security.
• Skilled in Secure Development Lifecycle, Security by Design, and Shift Left methodologies.
• Proficient in Threat Modeling, Architecture Review, Penetration Testing, Code Review, SAST, and DAST.
• Strong scripting abilities in languages such as Python, C, C++, Java, Ruby, and PowerShell.
• Adept at applying security best practices for compliance, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

You might also have...

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• Hosting industry and/or cloud Experience.
• Experience in hardware security.
