Seeking a Part-time Pharmacist to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions. The position is part-time, 24 hours per week. Pharmacy hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties

Required Qualifications:

The nurse manager 24/7 practice is accountable for the implementation of the vision, mission and values of Mayo Clinic and the Department of Nursing within defined areas of practice. The nurse manager 24/7 practice plans, directs, coordinates, and evaluates the operational, fiscal, and personnel activities within defined areas of practice to ensure the provision of quality patient care 24 hours a day. The individual contributes to the strategic planning process, and attainment of goals of the organization. The individual is responsible for one or more inpatient units based upon unit/area complexity and size of practice. The nurse manager 24/7 practice advocates for and allocates available resources to promote efficient, effective, safe, and compassionate nursing care based on current standards of practice. The registered nurse (RN) is accountable for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care. The RN supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family. The RN will function within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model, which includes accountability for planning, implementing, evaluating and communicating all phases of nursing care for assigned patients. The ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice provide a basis for the practice of the RN. The RN provides leadership through activities such as preceptor role, informal and formal leadership roles, and quality improvement efforts.
