The F-22 Raptor Team is seeking a Senior Design and Analysis Engineer in Berkeley, MO or Richardson, TX to join the F-22 Raptor Mission Design and Analysis Team with a focus on developing cutting edge engineering solutions to continue to advance the world's premier air superiority fighter.
As a Senior Design and Analysis Engineer, you will be responsible for developing engineering solutions for the F-22 Raptor, including both enhancing existing field units with the addition of new capabilities, as well as architecting and testing completely new systems. In this role, you will be joining a cross-functional team to progress our products through the development lifecycle. Tasks include developing requirements to support customer needs, designing a networked architecture to enable new capabilities, and analyzing test data.
Position Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with Responsible Engineers, customer technical staff, suppliers, and Lockheed Martin teammates to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements for F-22 avionics sub-systems and weapon system architecture
- Analyzes and translates requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications in support of lab and operational environments
- Analyzes test data, including off-nominal data, for accuracy, quality and/or fidelity prior to delivery to customer
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
- 9+ years of related work experience and a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of related work experience and technical education
- Ability to obtain F-22 Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
- Capable of traveling 10% of the time

These engineers deliver far-reaching analyses to address military capability gaps, in and across multiple warfighting domains, in the face of accelerating adversary capabilities! The team is responsible for producing effective analysis for warfare platforms and emerging constituent technologies, as well as the integration of assets across air, space, surface, subsurface, and cyberspace domains. Observations derived from the analyses will be used to develop offerings and drive business strategy across the entirety of the BDS portfolio.
