POSITION SUMMARY
At the administrative direction of the Director/Manager/ Team Lead, and the clinical direction of the Radiologist, our Certified Nuclear Technologist:

- Perform diagnostic studies utilizing radiopharmaceuticals and imaging equipment with minimum supervision.

- Assay and administer radiopharmaceuticals for administration to patient and performs quality control procedures.

- Position requires the flexibility to cross train in PET/CT based upon departmental staffing needs.

BASIC KNOWLEDGE

- Employees who are cross-trained in more than one DI modality are responsible for all aspects of the job descriptions in each separate modality.

- Competencies in each modality must be kept at adequate levels of performance for each area, and necessary documentation, including certification renewals, must take place on a yearly basis.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

- Nuclear Medicine Technologist Registered or Certified and licensed to practice in the State of Vermont via NMTCB or ARRT.

- Current minimum is an A.S. degree, with B.S. preferred

SCHEDULE

The core scheduled hours for this position are 7:30am-12:30pm Monday through Friday. Seven additional hours to be scheduled every week, with flexibility to set regular schedule per candidate availability and department needs. No weekends or call.
