This job independently performs advanced diagnostic ultrasound procedures in accordance with prescribed safety procedures and protocols. Leads departmental programs and is a clinical mentor for junior staff and students, and assumes routine supervisory duties in the absence of the team leader.

* Supports and ensures the provider is prepared for the visit by verifying physician orders and procedures for accuracy.
* Independently operates equipment, including radiology information systems to complete imaging procedure according to protocol. This includes placement of nasogastric tubes, IVs, urinary catheters, and administration of contrast to facilitate care.
* Reviews patient images prior to transmission to ensure images meet diagnostic quality standards.
* Completes timely quality control procedures in accordance with regulatory standards and performs notification/remediation as warranted.
* Assists in the facilitation of departmental operations, including inventory, staff schedules, equipment maintenance.

CT registry eligible within one year.

In collaboration with staff radiologists, this job assesses patients and safely performs routine CT procedures in accordance with prescribed radiation safety procedures and protocols. This job is a clinical mentor for junior staff and students.
Education
Required -Completion of a formal training program; Radiologic Technology program in an AMA approved school

Preferred- 2 years experience as a CT Technologist.

This job, as a part of a multidisciplinary team, assumes responsibility for the operation of the heart catheterization laboratory suite. Operates diagnostic fluoroscopy and various types of cardiac equipment, monitors patient vitals, performs routine calculations, circulates, and assists the physician during the procedure upon request. This job provides individualized, direct patient care of assigned patients by performing a variety of sonographic procedures and/or tests, not limited to electrocardiograms and associated stress tests, echocardiograms to include 2D/M Mode, Doppler and Color Flow imaging, Exercise Stress Echo and Dobutamine Stress Echo. Compiles history and diagnostic information from the examination, and presenting the preliminary sonographic findings. This job provides respiratory care treatment, oxygen services, diagnostic testing and ventilation support services to both in-patients and out-patients ranging in age from neonatal to geriatric. The RT-CRT set-ups, monitors and weans Oxygen Therapy and Artificial ventilation. The RT-CRT draws, analyzes and reports Arterial Blood Gases and EKGs.
