GENERAL PATIENT CARE - Meets the comfort and hygiene needs of the patient.
TECHNICAL CARE - Assists with completion of patient testing and treatment procedures, sets up and primes IV tubing, 12-lead ECG, simple tracheostomy suctioning and care, changes dressings, performs cardiopulmonary resuscitation, obtains wound and throat cultures.

CARE COORDINATION: The Inpatient RN Care Manager works with the multidisciplinary team including physicians, staff, and payers to ensure patient's progress along the continuum of care in an efficient and cost effective manner that ensures quality outcomes. Mandatory Reporting: Child and Dependent Adult Abuse requirement within 6 months of hire and renews this requirement every 5 years
Completes Cardiac Dysrhythmias and Management class or equivalent within 3 months of hire, and annual skill validation for Cardiac Dysrhythmias.
