Summary:
The Clinical Supervisor, in collaboration with and under the direction of the Nursing Department Director/Manager, is accountable for ongoing shift leadership and operations of a clinical department and for nursing care safety and quality. The Clinical Supervisor uses sound human resource and budget principles to guide the daily provision of nursing services to patients and families. The Clinical Supervisor supports comprehensive patient and family services through effective participation with the interdisciplinary team. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for supervising nursing department associates and providing patient care when needed. Coaches and guides employees under his/her supervision. Demonstrates Professionalism and Excellence by performing as role model for clinical and service excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates current, comprehensive, professional knowledge and skills in conformance with recognized nursing standards including the Patient Bill of Rights and Joint Commission/CMS regulations, Standards for Nursing Care for the Patient Care Unit and the New Mexico Nurse Practice Act.
- Conducts patient experience rounds to determine satisfaction with services and performs service recovery real-time. Assists manager/director in investigation of patient or physician complaints.
- Champions change by identifying obstacles and requesting resources for effective improvement.
- Prepares patient assignments based on patient need and associate competency level. Assigns unit tasks, meal/break time and ensures completion.
- Assists Patient Flow Supervisor in monitoring and improving patient flow metrics, including collaborating to determine appropriate placement based on patient needs.
- Promotes cohesive work teams and constructive conflict resolution, actively supporting intra- and inter-disciplinary teamwork, within the department.

- Performs end of shift controlled substance count and ensures resolution of all Pyxis discrepancies prior to shift end.
- Provides appropriate hand-off communication with patient transitions of care.
- Assists manager/director in development of unit associate time schedule.
- Assists staffing office in determining real time staffing needs based on census, patient needs and skill set of associates.
- Assists with new associate selection and unit education-participating in staff interviews, setting clear staff performance expectations, encouraging staff development, and completing timely performance evaluations-including staff input in each process.
- Initiates first level counseling as appropriate. Assists manager/director in corrective action/discipline process as indicated.
- Performs patient care duties when appropriate.
Requirements:
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. BSN preferred. National specialty certification preferred.
Experience:
- 3 years relevant experience preferred but not required.
- Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
Certifications, Registrations, or Licenses:
- Current RN license in the State of New Mexico.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Current ACLS Certification or obtain within 6 months.
- Current PALS/NRP if applicable to area.
- Current TNCC if applicable to area or obtain within 6 months.
- Current CPI or equivalent must be obtained within six months for Behavioral Health and Emergency Department.
- BLS, ACLS and PALS must be issued through American Heart Association.

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Controls 4 to support project execution activities at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). This role provides senior-level expertise in project planning, scheduling, cost engineering, and Earned Value Management (EVMS) to ensure successful delivery of complex technical projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and project controls processes.

The ideal candidate will oversee projects from bidding to execution. You will work with senior management and act as the point of contact for clients.
Responsibilities
- May initiate the investigation of abnormal events, incidents, and /or accidents to identify the root cause and assist in implementing appropriate corrective actions. May serve as a Control Account Manager (CAM) responsible for planning, budgeting, managing, and controlling costs and schedule performance for a project or subproject and serve as a point of contact for project controls, including account scope, schedule, budget and technical performance. Ensure work packages realistically represent the duration and budget necessary to perform work and perform variance analysis reviews, determine cause an effect of schedule or cost variance and define achievable corrective action plans. May be required to present project management performance plans, status updates, trends or issues to federal sponsors.
- Proven leadership and management skills (organize, direct, control) a team of workers, including work schedules, project progress and resource allocation. Advanced experience managing construction projects including proactively managing project scope, schedule and budget including Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS). Demonstrated experience identifying project risks, developing risk mitigation strategies and corrective actions, and recommending risk acceptance/avoidance for all aspects of a project.
- Advanced knowledge of all phases and complexity levels of construction projects, upgrades, renovations and D&D. Lead constructability reviews of the design process and the potential impacts to construction cost and schedule. Extensive knowledge and experience with facility maintenance and/or construction management including systems engineering design and maintenance, safety/authorization basis, configuration management programs, work control and facility control systems.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of collective bargaining agreements related to all trades.
- Extensive understanding of work hazards, safety practices, operating configuration, and lock-out/tag-out policies and procedures. Demonstrated ability to understand and interpret various physical, mechanical, and electrical documents, blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong and effective customer engagement. Demonstrated experience interfacing with program, project, and line management to develop clear and executable action plans to address issues or needs. Provide personal leadership, direction and technical advice regarding health, safety and environmental compliance. Demonstrated experience and skill in identifying problem areas, investigating alternative solutions and establishing a recovery Plan/Path forward. Ability to determine actions to be performed on problems affecting maintenance programs.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills that includes reporting on project status to senior level management, project stakeholders, as well as regulatory inquiries. Demonstrated skill in the preparation and presentation of oral and written reports. Demonstrated ability to utilize and manipulate a computerized work management system in maintaining and tracking job activities including the coordination of materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers. Ability to promote an open communication environment to develop mutual trust and teamwork.
- Position typically requires a recognized degree in an engineering or scientific discipline, or specialized courses in project management, and ten (10) years work experience (5+ years experience in at least one of the following functions: engineering, procurement and construction) leading to a thorough understanding of the knowledge described above, or any combination of education and experience.
- May be required to work a flexible schedule- Days, Nights, Weekends.
- Ability to obtain DOE Q Clearance is required.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide daily administrative and operational support to multidisciplinary technical and project teams.

- Support version control, approval workflows, and documentation processes using LANL systems.
- Assist with audits, readiness reviews, and validation of records to ensure operational compliance.
- Manage inventory, order technical supplies, and support materials tracking.

- Uphold strict confidentiality, security awareness, and professionalism in all documentation and communication activities.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in administrative, compliance, or operational support roles in technical or regulated industries.
- Demonstrated ability to manage documentation, scheduling, and workflows involving multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and document control systems.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Experience with compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, FINRA, SEC, or CUI (transferable to DOE).
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting DOE, NNSA, or National Laboratory environments.
- Familiarity with LANL document systems and Records Management protocols (e.g., DOE O 243.1).
- Knowledge of procurement coordination, inventory tracking, or materials management.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Position typically requires a bachelors degree and a minimum five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
