and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Radiologist to join our growing department.
This is a full-time faculty position at the Assistant Professor to Professor rank.
The faculty member will provide clinical services at the UT Health San Antonio Multispecialty and Research Hospital, UT Medicine, and affiliated facilities to include Nuclear Medicine night and weekend, and ER weekend coverage as needed.
Additional responsibilities include teaching medical students, supervising residents and fellows.
An established record of accomplishment in education and research are desired.
Candidates should be authorized users and experienced with full range of Nuclear Medicine diagnostic studies and therapies.
Our hospital and clinics are regional referral centers for Oncology and has partnership with MD Anderson Cancer Center, for trauma, organ transplantation, other surgical and medicine subspecialties.
The Nuclear Medicine section is also site for the combined ACGME-accredited Nuclear Medicine residency program in collaboration with San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium (SAUSHEC).
Our facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art scanners including PET/CT and SPECT/CT.
Faculty members participate in and have opportunities to develop research interests within the department and in collaboration with researchers in the basic and clinical science departments throughout the campus.
Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine (dual board certification is preferred), have a Texas State Medical License or able to obtain a Texas State Medical License prior to employment.
Salary and rank is commensurate with experience.

and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine, Department of Anesthesiology is seeking an obstetric anesthesia fellowship-trained (or equivalent) anesthesiologist for a faculty position to provide anesthetic care at the newly opened University Health System Women and Childrens Hospital as well as other clinical sites.
Job Duties: Participate in weekday and weekend call coverage in keeping with the standard for the Department (voluntary).
Oversee patient care provided by Residents and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs).
Participate in administrative and committee service opportunities.
Provide resident and student training in clinical setting.
Participate in didactic lectures, simulation training, and/or workshop opportunities.
Provide mentorship to residents, customarily 1 or 2 residents per year.
Pursue scholarly activity sufficient to stay abreast of new technology and medical advances in anesthesiology.
Required Qualifications: MD, DO or Foreign Equivalent 48 months of Anesthesiology Residency Training or 12 months of Preliminary Residency Training and 36 months of Anesthesiology Residency Training Texas Medical License or eligible to obtain licensure Board Certification or board eligible in Anesthesiology Participation in Maintenance of Certification in Anesthesiology (MOCA) if applicable Valid DEA Registration Number (Controlled Substance Registration Certificate) ACLS certified or obtaining certification UT Health San Antonio offers a competitive and flexible academic salary with great benefits.

Average Total Compensation $459,000 $537,000 depending on rank, subspecialty, and call shifts; even greater earning potential available.
