Having this position is very important to the company. Want to know why? The Receiver position is responsible for all functions and paperwork receiving. Sounds fun! Thats not all. This position operates machinery including baler, compactor, and forklift in a safe and proper manner. You are also responsible for maximizing sales potential through effective and proper procedures for receiving products entering the store. Qualifications

To be a Receiver at Sprouts Farmers Market you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age; possess a high school diploma or GED
• Be dependable and reliable having the ability to work a flexible schedule that changes as the business changes; weekends and holidays
• Report any receiving discrepancies to Managers and Buyer(s) to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications, examines contents and compares with records, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy equipment
• Attends all applicable trainings, and be able to use or be certified in the use of appropriate equipment needed for store or facility, is able to comply with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices
• Ability to work independently yet have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with other team members and Store leadership and is able to knowledgeably communicate with service vendors
• Are you willing to put those muscles to the test? This position requires moving/transferring product weighing up to 60 lbs., from 5 to 56, for up to 30 feet for up to 30 hours without mechanical assistance. Crazy right!
• Must use pallet jack to horizontally transfer product weighing up to 1000 lbs., requiring a force up to 50 lbs., for a distance up to 150 feet for up to 40 hours.
• Vision required for reviewing invoices and monitoring incoming product.
• Ability to perform simple math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) ability to multi-task, ability to understand proper retail receiving, and basic computer knowledge
• Is able to execute other duties as needed

Job Introduction

The Dairy Clerk is responsible for keeping all store dairy and frozen cases stocked and clean during business hours. They are required to assist customers as needed while maintaining a friendly, energetic demeanor. This position requires adhering to all procedural guidelines set by the Dairy department.

Overview of Responsibilities

• Ensures cleanliness of dairy cases, storage area, and work area for safety. This includes the cleaning of shelves and products, keeping floors free of liquid spills or water, removing hazardous debris from the floor, and sweeping
• Stocks dairy cases. This includes the presentation of product, facing, filling, and organization of all product items as set by the Dairy Department schematics as well as ensuring tag and pricing accuracy
• Examines the rotation of all dairy products paying particular attention to expired stock and discarding outdated or spoiled items
• Responds positively to customers inquiries and assists customers with purchases, information, and product selection; requires selling and cross selling of products
• Receives, inspects, and logs products for accuracy of shipment, temperature, and quality
• Monitors the point of purchase signs. Ensures a variety of recipe cards, product coupons, promotional material, and information on complimentary foods
• Requires operating and using equipment such as knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
• Uses knowledge of scales and weight measures to accurately weigh and label products
• Sustains a high level of product knowledge and product preparation
• Walks department regularly to ensure an organized, sanitary, and overall clean appearance at all times
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency degree
• Preferred 1 2 years grocery retail experience in Dairy department processes and procedures
• Must maintain the highest level of customer service at all times
• Must be able to support and contribute to team goals
• Must have basic knowledge of math, weights, and measures
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates

• Must use a pallet jack to move product between 500-1000 lbs., requiring a force amid 25-50 lbs., for a distance between 15-50 feet for between 5-50 hours
• Upper body forces up to 10 lbs. for up to 1 hour are required
• Coupling forces between 50-60 lbs. for up to 10 hours are required
• Must use a 2 step stool to access shelves for up to 1 step per 8 hours
• Must repetitively bend/squat to access a point 5 inches from the floor for up to 30 hours
• Requires standing continuously for up to 4 hours continuously, for a total of 8 hours per shift
• Will work inside controlled temperatures, as well as coolers/freezers
• Vision is required to order, stock and inventory all dairy products
• Walking up to 3 miles per 8 hours is expected

At Sprouts Farmers Market, our Bakery Clerks work in one of the most popular departments in the store. Who doesnt want a hot chocolate chip cookie every so often? As a Bakery Clerk, you will assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising items such as cakes, pies, rolls, muffins, breads, and other baked goods. You will simultaneously answer questions for our customers while ensuring the cleanliness of bakery aisles, storage areas, and work area for safety. This includes the cleaning of shelves and products, keeping floors free of spills, removing hazardous debris from floor, and sweeping. As a Bakery Clerk, you will maintain clean, safe, and sanitary bakery area and equipment. • Be at least 18 years of age with a High school diploma or equivalent; with 1-2 years Bakery experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.

• Adhere to all safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations, while achieving and maintaining a Food Handlers permit.

Job Title : Bomb Technician (EOD) Category / Component : Enlisted • Active Overview Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technicians locate, identify, render safe, and dispose of explosive threats on land, at sea, and underwater, using advanced robotics, diving, and explosives skills to protect forces and civilians and support fleet and joint operations worldwide.

Key Responsibilities Detonate and demolish hazardous munitions, pyrotechnics, and outdated explosives; neutralize ordnance including sea mines, torpedoes, depth charges, and improvised explosive devices; remotely disable unsafe ordnance using robotic and diagnostic technology; conduct parachute and helicopter insertion operations; clear waterways of mines in support of ships and submarines; provide explosive ordnance support to law enforcement agencies and organizations such as the United States Secret Service and Department of State.

Pathways, Training & Advancement Recruit Training followed by an EOD preparatory course at Great Lakes, Illinois, that builds swimming, conditioning, small boat skills, and risk management fundamentals; EOD Assessment and Selection Course that evaluates aquatic adaptability, running, swimming, academics, professionalism, and teamwork; Navy diver training at the Naval Diving and Salvage Training Center; Naval School Explosive Ordnance Disposal, which covers demolition, conventional ordnance, underwater mines, missiles, landmines, and chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear threats; Basic Parachute Training and ongoing advanced training and qualifications throughout a career.

Apply for the Navy Warrior Challenge contract for EOD during initial enlistment, then pass the EOD Physical Screening Test and diver medical screening; complete required assessments and receive recommendation and screening from an EOD officer or senior enlisted EOD technician; additional in service accession requirements may include minimum time on board, performance standards, and command endorsement.
