Key Responsibilities

• Perform on-site bolting, torquing, tensioning, and induction heating services on critical equipment.
• Support field machining, hot tapping, and line-stop operations as needed.
• Install, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain specialized tools and OEM induction equipment.
• Ensure all work adheres to safety, quality, and compliance standards.
• Interpret technical drawings, job packages, and client specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and customer representatives to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient service delivery.
• Maintain, calibrate, and prepare rental and company-owned specialty equipment.
• Travel extensively to client facilities across regional and national assignments.

Recommended Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in industrial services, mechanical maintenance, or specialty field service roles (power plants, refineries, petrochemical, or heavy industry preferred).
• Certifications/Training:
• NCCER, OSHA, or equivalent field qualifications (preferred).
• OEM training on induction heating or bolting/tensioning equipment (a plus).
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic tool operation.
• Familiarity with torque/tension charts, machining tolerances, and mechanical fit-up.
• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs, work at heights, and endure confined space conditions.
• Willingness to work extended shifts, nights, weekends, and travel on short notice.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.

Job description:

Heat Treatment Technicians are responsible for conducting a process where metal and alloy materials are treated using heat to alter their physical, and sometimes chemical, properties.

This process makes the material more desirable or useful for specific applications.

Their duties and responsibilities include:

• Setting up and operating heat treatment equipment based on job specifications
• Monitoring machines to ensure they maintain the correct conditions during the heat treatment process
• Performing inspections to evaluate the physical properties of materials after heat treatment
• Conducting routine maintenance and troubleshooting on heat treatment machinery and equipment
• Working with engineers and other technicians to develop and implement heat treatment plans
• Ensuring compliance with safety procedures and regulations during all heat treatment operations
• Interpreting and adhering to blueprints, technical drawings, and plans

The Position

A working-leader role for someone who can diagnose, repair, and keep equipment running—and also run the service function day-to-day (triage, scheduling, parts coordination, documentation, customer updates). This role also requires versatility: when service load is light (or the shop is in crunch mode), you’ll jump in to support assembly, fabrication, and general manufacturing work as needed.

What you’ll do

• Lead service operations: intake/triage, prioritize work, assign tasks, keep turnaround times tight.
• Hands-on wrenching: diagnose and repair diesel, hydraulic, mechanical, and basic electrical issues.
• Phone + field troubleshooting: confidently diagnose problems over the phone and in person, ask the right questions, guide customers/techs through checks, and get to root cause quickly.
• Hydraulic diagnostics: pressure/flow issues, valve function, cylinder/pump performance, leak/root cause.
• Versatile shop support: contribute in assembly, fabrication, and other manufacturing functions (fit-up, routing, bracket mods, tool work, punch lists, etc.) as needed.
• Preventive maintenance + inspections: build checklists, enforce standards, reduce repeat failures.
• Parts + work orders: coordinate parts, capture labor/notes, document repairs cleanly.
• Customer communication: clear updates, accurate expectations, professional follow-through.
• Safety + shop discipline: PPE, safe lifting/rigging, lockout/tagout, clean and organized work areas.

Must-haves

• Diesel mechanic experience (diagnostics + repair) — you can troubleshoot, not just replace parts.
• Hydraulic systems understanding — hoses/fittings, valves, pumps, cylinders, pressure/flow logic.
• Strong problem solver — can diagnose issues fast, including remote troubleshooting by phone.
• Versatile skillset + mindset — willing and able to contribute across service, assembly, fabrication, and general production support.
• Steady leadership: sets priorities, holds standards, keeps things moving without drama.
• Reliable, professional, and process-minded (notes, checklists, clean handoffs).

Nice to have

• Experience with mobile hydraulic equipment, pumps, shotcrete/concrete equipment, or construction equipment.
• Experience with Cummins engines or similar platforms.

We’re seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Project Manager to oversee projects from kickoff through closeout. This role is responsible for managing field operations, schedules, budgets, and client coordination to ensure safe, profitable, and on-time delivery.

You’ll work closely with Superintendents, Foremen, and Operations leadership to drive production, maintain quality standards, and protect project margins.

• Manage multiple heavy civil projects simultaneously
• Oversee schedules, budgets, and cost tracking
• Coordinate daily with Superintendents and field crews
• Lead project meetings with owners, engineers, and stakeholders
• Review production reports, safety documentation, and vendor invoices
• Manage change orders from scope review through approval and billing
• Prepare pay applications and support timely project closeout
• Maintain accurate project documentation and controls

• 5+ years of heavy civil construction project management experience
• Strong understanding of underground utilities, earthwork, grading, or related civil scopes
• Proven ability to manage project financials and protect margins
• Ability to work effectively with field leadership and crews
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Correctly use precision measuring tools.
• Routinely maintains equipment to ensure cleanliness, accuracy and reliability.

Physical Demands: Physically demanding job which requires lifting heavy objects, twisting, bending and reaching. Must be physically agile and able to work in confined spaces as well as high elevations.

Work Environment: Exposure to varying extreme climates and outside weather conditions (heat/cold, wet/humid).
