Responsibilities of the Medical Director
- Supervision of physicians while participating in administrative and clinical tasks,
- Acting as a liaison while educating, informing, and communicating the benefits of the facility to healthcare professionals and locals within the surrounding geographic areas.
- Develops the physician services team and ensures quality of care.
- Participates in the on call duties with other members of the medical team as needed.
Requirements of the Medical Director
- Doctorate MD
- 5 years of physician experience in a health care facility.
- 5+ years of leadership experience
- Board Certification in internal medicine, family practice, or any ACGME specialty.
- Buprenorphine Certification
- DEA Certificate.
