Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of the radiographic / digital imaging equipment and table positioning as appropriate for safe patient care. Assists physicians as scrub/circulator for Interventional Radiology procedures including, but not limited to, arteriograms for cerebral, renal, mesenteric, pelvic and extremity circulation (possible angioplasty/stent placement/thrombolytic therapy/embolization), percutaneous gastrostomy tube procedures, percutaneous nephrostomy and urologic stenting procedures, venous access procedures, venography of the extremities, inferior and superior vena cava (possible angioplasty/stent placement/filter placement/thrombolytic therapy), percutaneous cholangiogram (possible balloon dilation/stent placement/drainage catheter placement/stone extraction), transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt, endovascular repair of thoracic and abdominal aortic aneurysms and is willing to adapt to new technologies and protocols.
Position Purpose
IR Techs use fluoroscopy (essentially real-time X-ray), specialized wires, stents and other tools to visualize the patient's condition in real time and also change what they see
What you will do:
- Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of the radiographic / digital imaging equipment and table positioning as appropriate for safe patient care.
- Demonstrates ability to acquire images and send images to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
- Demonstrates ability to communicate verbally and in written form (e.g. sticky notes) clearly and effectively with other members of the team.
- Transports patients to and from procedural area, admitting and recovery area, and other areas within the hospital as needed.
- Assists with patient transfer to and from procedure table and stretcher.
- Establishes and maintains ongoing communication with the physician operator throughout procedures to facilitate patient safety, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Demonstrates willingness to learn new procedures and coordinates in-service/education for other associates, as needed.
- Administers contrast media under the direction of a physician. Recognizes signs of a contrast reaction and responds appropriately with corrective action.
- Systematically reviews history and physical, lab values, prior imaging, and correlates invasive procedure protocol with patient’s physiological status. Communicates findings to physician operator and fellow team members.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved Diagnostic Radiology program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Able to respond on-site within 30 minutes when participating in the on-call rotation.
- Florida Licensed Radiologic Technologist, Radiography credentialing thru American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R) (ARRT).

Responsibilities
- Maintain Customer relations with all existing and future clients.

The successful candidate will perform advanced scientific work with supervisory laboratory analyses responsibility for water and soil pollution investigations including code enforcement. The position requires knowledge of analytical techniques related to the analyses of Nutrients, Organics and/or Metals using highly technical instrumentation to include Gas Chromatograph (GC), Gas Chromatograph/Mass Spectrometer (GC/MS), Ion Coupled Plasma Spectrometer (ICPMS) and/or Segmented Flow Analyzers depending on the assigned area. Experience conducting wet chemistry techniques including total suspended solids, pH and turbidity are desirable. Candidates with experience in the analyses of Microbiology samples using IDEXX will be considered. The candidate must have excellent communication and writing skills to complete internal audits, write technical reports including Standard Operating Procedures and conduct detection limit studies using approved methods. The position is required to assist field personnel in sampling events when necessary. Proficient in the use of LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) for data entry, quality control and reporting are preferred. Experienced working under a NELAP certified laboratory as an analyst is highly desirable. This position has emergency responsibilities to support the Public Works and Environmental Services Department in times of emergency activation.

SCOPE OF WORK
Duties and Responsibilities
The functions listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this class. Management may assign additional functions related to the type of work of the job as necessary.
The position requires knowledge of analytical techniques related to the analyses of nutrients, metals and/or organics in environmental samples, using highly technical instrumentation that includes Ion Coupled Plasma Spectrometer (ICPMS), Gas Chromatograph/Mass Spectrometer (GCMS) and a Segmented Flow Analyzer depending on the assigned area. It also requires knowledge of wet chemistry techniques for the analyses of total suspended solids and turbidity. Candidates with experience analyzing microbiology environmental samples using IDEXX will also be considered. The position requires method development and troubleshooting skills for the instrumentation assigned. Analyzes the prepared samples for petroleum, herbicides and pesticides. Enters the analytical results into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
Prepares organics glassware for sample extraction per Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) protocols.
Assists with data entry and Quality control (QC) checking for the laboratory. Monitors temperatures for laboratory sample refrigerators for QC purposes.
Receives laboratory samples and enters them into the LIMS.
Assists with test designing for various laboratory methods in the LIMS and fixing errors which occur in test methods.

Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and decrease or prevent deformity of patients suffering from disease or injury.
· Administer manual exercises, massage and/or traction to help relieve pain, increase the patient's strength, and decrease or prevent deformity and crippling.
· Discharge patient from physical therapy when goals or projected outcomes have been attained and provide for appropriate follow up care or referrals. Evaluate effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit. Identify and document goals, anticipated progress and plans for reevaluation. Inform the patient when diagnosis reveals findings outside their scope and refer to an appropriate practitioner. Instruct patient and family in treatment procedures to be continued at home.
· Plan, prepare and carry out individually designed programs of physical treatment to maintain, improve or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain and prevent physical dysfunction in patients. Record prognosis, treatment, response, and progress in patient's chart or enter information into computer. Review physician's referral and patient's medical records to help determine diagnosis and physical therapy treatment required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy is required.
Experience & Skills:
New Grads and Experienced PT's welcome
Licensure/Certification:
Must be a Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Florida is required.

* bachelor’s degree in athletic training, Physical Education, or Exercise Science or health
related profession required. Master’s Degree preferred.
* Current CPR/AED from American Heart Association certification required.
* First Assist Certification highly preferred.
LICENSURE:
