JOB DUTIES
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS An Engineer III performs a variety of engineering assignments in planning and overseeing research, design, development, manufacturing, testing, installation, integration, sustainment, operation, and maintenance of diverse software, electronic, and/or mechanical equipment and systems.
Employee will be responsible for the following functions/duties: Perform as a lead of a development, sustainment, or operations and maintenance team on more complex engineering assignments Independently perform a range of design, development, analysis, or review tasks under generally established project deadlines Complete design specifications, analyses, or design reviews for complex projects Generate complete design specifications for more complex projects Coordinate and work closely with other engineering, logistics, financial, and program management disciplines to define system specifications and requirements Verify and comply with engineering documentation standards and test procedures Prepare, deliver, and submit technical papers and perform engineering studies Support development of technical proposals and provide comments on the technical content and level of effort of the proposed scope of work Develop, maintain, and produce technical documentation and system/subsystem specifications Direct interface with customers at all levels from quotation to final design and test activities Acts as liaison for design reviews and technical working group meetings to comply with requirements and specifications Conduct site visits and experimental investigations and analyze engineering problems, propose solutions and alternatives, and provide recommendation Perform other job-related duties, as required RANGE POSITION DESCRIPTION Key Responsibilities: Provide simulation support for the Joint Simulation Environment project at Nellis AFB, building simulations to support USAF operational test and training missions.
Perform control room functions, including role-playing for constructive air assets, to support test and training exercises.
Assist in developing test planning, test conduct, test processes, test reports, operational procedures, data deliverables, and safety packages.
Simulation Support: Configure the battle space, perform post-test reconfigurations, and prepare the virtual environment with customer-defined threat laydowns.
Develop and implement threat configurations, System Under Test (SUT) configurations, and weapons configurations.
Operate and act as a flyer/operator within the simulation environment to support verification and validation.
Training and Mentorship: Instruct, mentor, and demonstrate to fellow flyers and engineers the threat system, operations, sensor systems, communication and navigation systems, and Pilot Vehicle Interface (PVI).
Modeling and Simulation: Provide modeling and simulation support for the development, upgrade, operations, and integration of constructive, real-time, and virtual piloted simulators.
Support the flying quality, airframe, propulsion, avionics, sensors, weapon, and electronic warfare mission areas.
Engineering Support: Provide operations engineering support for test planning working groups, design reviews, and other related testing activities. REQUIREMENTS
- EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE A Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited academic institution and four years of related engineering experience, or an accredited Master of Science in Engineering and a minimum of two years of related engineering experience, or an accredited doctorate degree in engineering are required for this position.
In addition, an Engineer III must possess the following qualifications: Mastery of concepts, principles, and practices of engineering that enable the employee to serve as a technical authority on projects relating to the specific programs Knowledge and skill sufficient to apply the latest developments in engineering to solve problems in the specialty area Working knowledge of computer systems and computer-based engineering tools Ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and design solutions to problems in operational hardware and software Excellent communication and analytical skills Planning/organizational skills and the ability to work under deadlines The incumbent must possess a valid, state issued driver's license.

JOB SUMMARY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES Serves as subject matter expert (SME) to support development, integration, and fielding of numerous high power and low power RF simulators representing potential military threat systems.
The simulator systems may be transportable/relocatable/remote controlled as required to represent adversary air defense systems and prevailing technology.
The emitters will be a combination of open and closed-loop systems utilizing phased-array antenna systems.
Serves as a systems integration engineer working with vendors to field systems ensuring the following elements are addressed: Provides expert systems/equipment analysis and recommendations to leadership and engineering teams.
Identify and document system level open-loop emitter and closed-loop radar requirements for range integration to include power, communication, instrumentation and command & control.
Validate existing power, communications, instrumentation and command and control (C2) range interface control documents (ICDs) and update/re-create as necessary.
Support the testing and sustainment of advanced radar threat system simulators.
Advanced radars can be defined as digital and phased array systems.
Develop remote operations concept and infrastructure requirements.
Document range modernization needs and generate cost estimates to upgrade the ranges to meet future needs.
Recommends tests, equipment modifications, and corrections to design deficiencies through evaluation of operational capability of systems/equipment and review of performance data against standards.
Provides training, mentoring, and assisted other engineers, technicians, and operators in the diagnostics and repair of threat systems.
Verifies and complies with engineering documentation standards and test procedures.
Supports development of technical proposals and provides comments on the technical content and level of effort of the proposed scope of work.
Develops, maintains, and produces technical documentation and system/subsystem specifications.
Conducts site visits and experimental investigations and analyzes engineering problems, proposes solutions and alternatives, and provides recommendations.
Creates technical proposals, requirements definitions, test plans and other technical documentation following JT4's systems engineering processes and procedures.
Research and analyze data such as customer design proposals, specifications and manuals to determine the feasibility of a design or application.
Devise appropriate tests to evaluate, debug and check systems.
Document the results of complex analysis and design tasks.
Collaborate with Air Force customers to obtain requirements, develops system requirements documents, acquisition and vendor statement of work documents, evaluation tests, and summary reports.

JOB SUMMARY
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES Performs a variety of fundamental tasks under general supervision of a senior level engineer, involved in the installation, operations, testing and maintenance of electronic equipment and systems.
Performs Operations and Maintenance on assigned Joint Data Network (JDNA)/Link 16 equipment.
The Joint Data Link Network Administrator (JDNA) is responsible to the Joint Interface Control Cell (JICC) watch officer, Joint Data Link Network Operations Officer (JDNO) and Joint Interface Control Officer (JICO) for all system administrators matters for the JICC computer systems.
The JDNA will coordinate with the appropriate computer activities and units to resolve all computer support issues for the JICC computers.
Assists the JDNO and JICO with the operation and maintenance of the JDN.
Assists in the design, development, modification and analysis of Data Link (Link 16/Situational Awareness Data Link) hardware devices and/or systems Configures and operates Link-16 host and auxiliary equipment such as Joint Range Extension (JRE), Link monitoring and Management Tool (LMMT), Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS), Situational Awareness Data link (SADL) and Terminal Housing Case (THC).
Performs corrective and preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment Diagnoses malfunctions in new and existing systems; makes improvements or modifications to produce desired results.
Performs system administration duties, including networking on Unix/Linux equipment Performs upgrades and installations to Windows 7/10 equipment.
Performs Link 16 operations at a minimum of Joint Tactical Information Distribution Systems (JTIDS) 101 levels.
Works closely with project management, other engineering disciplines, configuration management, quality assurance and operations support in the design and deployment of systems or enhances.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of 3 years with Tactical Data Link/BC3 experience to include patching in upgrades and software/hardware troubleshooting.
Knowledge of Link 16 operations at a minimum of JTDS 101 and at least four years of applicable Data Link experience.
AJOC (JT-310) course completion highly recommended/desired.
REQUIREMENTS
- EDUCATION, TECHNICAL AND WORK EXPERIENCE Associates Degree in Engineering/Computer Sciences or other technical discipline or formal academic/vocational/military training and a minimum of 7 or more years of technical/professional experience in the specialty field.
Must have specific experience in the use of MS Office and Web enabled applications.
Incumbent must possess planning/organizing skills and must be able to work under deadlines.
Employee is expected to routinely cross-fields in the completion of somewhat difficult and varied assignments.
Must be capable of updating or repairing computer systems.

The Customer Service Rep - Tax (Seasonal, Bilingual: English / Spanish) - Remote works from home and interfaces with customers via inbound/outbound calls and/or via the Internet. This position provides customer service support and resolution of routine problems and questions regarding client's products and/or services. WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE
As a Customer Service Rep - Tax (Seasonal, Bilingual: English / Spanish) working from home, you will:
- Provide inbound customer support using a call flow guide in the customer's preferred language
- Help customers resolve basic technical issues
- Track, document, and retrieve information in databases
- Offer additional products and/or services
- Deliver expert customer experiences with a smile
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

- The ability to read, write and speak fluently both Spanish and English
- 1+ year of customer service experience
- Open availability
- A high school diploma or GED
- A quiet, distraction-free environment to work from in your home
- Proficiency in fast-paced multi-tasking
- Eagerness to learn new technologies
- Strong computer navigation skills and PC knowledge
- A desktop or laptop to complete PC and internet testing
- Computer Requirements:
- Bring your own device - This position does not loan equipment
- Device must be a desktop or laptop computer (No Macs, Chromebooks, iPads, tablets, mobile phones, etc.)
- Operating System: Windows 11+
- RAM: 8GB or higher
- Processor: Intel i5/AMD Ryzen 5 or higher
- Internet Requirements:
- DSL, Cable, or Fiber connection (Satellite and Wireless/Hotspots are not acceptable)
- Speeds: 10 mbps download and 3 mbps upload or higher
- While working, you will be required to hardwire with an ethernet cable
- High Speed internet (no wireless/hotspots or satellite) and a smartphone
- Must reside in the United States and have a valid U.S. address for residence

- The base salary for this position is $16/hr. (pay rate will not be below the applicable minimum wage). Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies.
