Answers the phone and provides customer service to internal and external customers following established standards.
Consults Specimen Processing Coordinator, supervisor or lab leadership when appropriate.
Assists other staff with processing questions or automation line issues.
Assists with training new hires, students, or medical students, if applicable.
Disposes of bio-hazardous materials, chemical waste, sharps and other potentially hazardous materials according to policy and strictly adheres to safety and infection control procedures.

- 6:00am-4:30pm The Inventory Control Clerk I is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records.
This role ensures all paperwork and procedures are completed to verify received and shipped orders, properly record transactions, and account for defective or damaged products with appropriate corrective actions.
Primary Responsibilities Administer the cycle count program.
Maintain and report all inventory metrics.
Serve as liaison between departments regarding inventory accuracy issues.
Audit, correct, track, and report errors to identify improvement opportunities.
Research and generate reports on inventory losses or variances.
Print and assign daily pick lists; resolve missing item issues.
Manage recall inventory and reporting.
Monitor and report warehouse capacity.
Follow all company safety rules and regulations.
Clean and report breakage according to company guidelines.
Maintain 100% quality and accuracy levels.
Participate in departmental continuous improvement initiatives.
Demonstrate thorough understanding and adherence to safety rules and reporting requirements.
Perform job functions based on instructions and pre-defined guidelines.
Work under immediate supervision.
Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
Education / Experience High school diploma or equivalent education required.
0--2 years of relevant experience.
1 year of warehouse experience preferred.
1 year of forklift operating experience strongly preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to follow policies and procedures.
Ability to read, write, and interpret information.
Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide.
Manual dexterity: ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.

- 2nd Shift (Afternoon/Evening) Shipping and Receiving Clerk 2nd Shift Monday-Friday 4:30pm-1:00am The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for performing a variety of data-entry and administrative tasks related to the accurate recording of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
This role ensures timely and efficient completion of daily functions supporting inbound and outbound processes, including documentation, scheduling, reporting, and customer communications.
The position upholds standards of safety, accuracy, and productivity.
Primary Responsibilities Perform data entry functions within assigned work area.
Execute administrative tasks related to shipping and receiving.
Coordinate and schedule pick-ups.
Ensure timely and accurate shipment processing.
Consolidate shipments in a timely and acceptable manner.
Adhere to Vendor Routing Guide requirements.
Support computer room functions, including label generation for daily production orders.
Track monthly rack audit data in Maintenance Connection.
Track recurring Material Safety Data Sheets in Maintenance Connection.
Support Operations Analyst by generating custom reports from the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Perform inventory adjustment audits.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Analyze workload and communicate with internal departments and external transportation carriers.
Collect, collate, and disseminate departmental data in appropriate report formats.
Maintain office supply levels and manage interoffice mail distribution.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education / Experience High school diploma or equivalent required.
One (1) year of related data processing experience, ideally within a distribution center environment.
One (1) year of experience in a warehouse/clerical environment using standard practices.
PC skills required (Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) equipment preferred.
Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and flexibility in meeting deadlines.
