ResponsibilitiesBasic Function - This position is involved with facility maintenance duties and customer interface. Previous experience is preferred, but not required in all positions. Individual must be able to perform with minimum supervision. Other duties may include: equipment service and general housekeeping tasks.
- Perform all maintenance and cleaning tasks noted in the checklists and as directed by the facility manager/supervisor to ensure that all dirt, dust, litter and debris is removed from all areas of the facility using brooms, mops, brushes and other hand tools.
- Walk garage daily to note and correct any maintenance problems.
- Sweep and pick up around the entrances and exits to the garage and stairwells as well as clean surface area rails, etc. on all levels, the booth, the office and rest rooms.
- Empty all trashcans in the garage, the booth and the office.
- Paint any and all areas of the facility as directed by the facility manager/supervisor to ensure that all painted surfaces such as poles, signs, doors, walls, curbs, islands, gates, etc. are properly maintained and look neat and clean.
- Replace burned out bulbs.
- Apply oil absorbent to oil spills.
- Submit requests for repairs or maintenance.
- Check conditions of safety items, such as gate arms to ensure clearance bars are secure.
- Check ticket spitters and gates daily for proper operations, ticket supply, accuracy of time on clock and general appearance.
- Provide ticket and record gate counters to the Manager.
- Keep an inventory of janitorial supplies.
- Maintain a garage/lot sweep sheet.
- Operate automatic sweepers, scrubbers, outdoor equipment such as weed eater, lawnmowers or other electrical tools to repair or construct items, as applicable.
- Shovel, plow or blow snow from the entrance or exit ramps and in areas designated by the Facility Manager using shovels, snow blowers and other light duty equipment.
- Report any unknown, observed or suspected violations of company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Facility Manager in a timely manner.
- Practice the Three Keys to Customer Satisfaction including the Five Customer Service Behaviors to ensure successful customer interactions.
- Assist customers within the facility or as directed by the Facility Manager/Supervisor.
- Resolve customer complaints independently or with the aid of a supervisor.
- Be familiar with all aspects of the operation and cover other duties including cashier, attendant, etc. on an as needed basis.
- Maintain a neat and clean appearance and arrive and remain complete uniform before and during scheduled shifts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

SPECIAL OPERATIONS CORPSMAN: CAREER DETAILS & REQUIREMENTS
Responsibilities
Those in the Hospital Corpsman Advanced Technical Field go beyond the duties of basic Hospital Corpsman, working in austere and challenging environments while saving lives. Each of the three classifications has its own responsibilities:
Special Operations Independent Duty Corpsman (SOIDC)
- Provide advanced medical care and operational services for Marine Reconnaissance, USMC Special Operations Forces and Navy Special Operations Command personnel, like SWCC and SEALs
- Engage as a team member in direct action, special reconnaissance, foreign internal defense and unconventional warfare
Search and Rescue Medical Technician (SMT)
- Rescue patients and deliver emergency care from the back of a helicopter
- Perform aircrew duties and En Route Care (ERC) for routine illness and emergent patients
- Provide relief and assistance in areas ravaged by catastrophic natural disasters
- Support Search and Rescue (SAR), tactical evacuation (TECEVAC), Medical Evacuation (MEDEVAC), casualty evacuation (CASEVAC) and Combat Search & Rescue (CSAR) for Navy and Marine Corps Aviation
Deep Sea Diving Medical Technician (DMT)
- Provide basic medicine and assist medics in prevention and treatment of diving related illnesses, injuries associated with deep sea diving and hyperbaric conditions
- Operate, test and repair all Navy diving equipment
- Perform underwater inspections, harbor/port/ship security inspections, conduct ordnance searches, rescue personnel, engage in special warfare and small boat operations
- Operate Swimmer Delivery Vehicle Dry-Deck Shelter system and submarine Lock-in/Lock-out systems
Work Environment
As a Hospital Corpsman, you have the most diverse range of work environments in the Navy. Your job will likely take you all over the world-and far out of your comfort zone. If you choose to go the Hospital Corpsman Advanced Technical Field route, you will work in extreme and sometimes precarious conditions. From deep-sea diving to combat missions to flying in MH-60 Romeo helicopters, you will train outside the realm of conventional military forces to prepare for any mission. You may work independent of a physician or under supervision in this program.
Training & Advancement
Upon completion of initial training at Recruit Training Command Great Lakes (known as Boot Camp), you'll report for specialized training including:
Hospital Corps A School (19 weeks) in San Antonio, Texas for training on basic principles and techniques of patient care and first aid procedures.
After A School, HM-ATF candidates track to one of three advanced training paths:
- Special Operations Independent Duty Corpsman Pipeline (121 weeks)
Areas of training include but are not limited to basic reconnaissance, airborne operations, combatant diving, demolitions, clinical diagnostics, advanced trauma skills, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), basic surgical anesthesia, basic veterinary medicine and basic dental exams. - Search and Rescue Medical Tech Pipeline (27 weeks)
Areas of training include but are not limited to advanced fluid resuscitation, administration and management of Advanced Life Support medications, use of emergency medical equipment, rescue and recovery devices and patient handling. - Medical Deep Sea Diving Tech Pipeline (28 weeks)
Areas of training include but are not limited to diving physics, scuba and surface-supplied air diving, recognition and treatment of diving related illnesses.
After completing your pipeline, you'll receive your first assignment. You'll go wherever you're needed, which can be anywhere in the world. Automatic promotion opportunities are available but are competitive and based on completion of pipeline.
Post-Service Opportunities

Specialized training received and work experience gained in the course of service can lead to valuable credentialing and occupational opportunities in related fields in the civilian world, such as Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Home Health Aide, Anesthesiologist Assistant and more.

Beyond offering access to professional credentials and certifications, Navy technical and operational training in the medical field can translate to credit hours toward a bachelor's or associate degree through the American Council on Education.

Qualifications & Requirements
A high-school diploma or equivalent is required to become an Enlisted Sailor. Those seeking a position as a Hospital Corpsman must be U.S. citizens.
While no college degree is required to apply for a position as a Hospital Corpsman Advanced Technical Field, a high degree of difficulty should be expected. Entry Requirements include:
- Vision correctable to 20/20

- 28 years of age or younger

CDL-A Truck Driver Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age
- 1year previous tractor/trailer driving experience

Pay

- Typically involves tailgating windows to the back of the trailer
- +2 CPM added for all assisted unload loads
Miles & Stops
- 1,500–2,300 miles per week (average)
- 15–20 stops per week
Routes
- Regional freight with lanes throughout the Midwest and East Coast with some Southwest.

- Fleet includes Peterbilt 579s, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth T680s

Job DescriptionLocal lumber delivery for 84 Lumber
Deliver lumber and building materials from store locations to customer job sites
Operate a tractor trailer with a 45 ft flatbed trailer and a forklift mounted on the back
Forklift is used for most deliveries; some heavy lifting required
Heavy lifting may be up to 100 lbs
Start time is 6:00 AM; work until all deliveries are completed for the day
Typical workday is 10–12 hours
Monday through Friday schedule
Occasional Saturday work may be required; Saturdays are rare and typically a half day, finished by noon
- Guaranteed $950 per week base pay
Average starting weekly pay is $1,200–$1,300
Asdriversgain experience with job sites, forklift operation, and paperwork, speed and earnings increase
Annual earning potential of $65,000–$75,000
Commission is based on the delivery fee associated with each delivery
Must live within 30 minutes of our location
At least two years of proven safe driving experience
City driving experience preferred

OTR Company Driver
Qualifications
- Valid CDL A
- 1 year of OTR experience in last 3 years
- Must be willing to be out for 3 weeks at a time
- Safe driving record that meets our minimum requirements
- Clean driving record in the past 3 years
- Must be at least 22 years of age
