Masis Professional Group is assisting our client in searching for a Direct Hire, Production Supervisor.
Our client is a manufacturer of the finest quality medicinal packaging and drug delivery systems.
The Production Supervisor is responsible and has the authority to supervise, co-ordinate, direct and control the activities of team members to produce within budgeted costs, the assigned production outputs to acceptable quality standards on schedule with minimum waste and downtime commensurate with customer requirements.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
ยท Develop and maintain effective production outputs to meet company objectives and customer requirements.

ยท Liaison with other departments to ensure that all services are available for production and where there are problems ensure those responsible are notified so that appropriate action is taken to minimize the disruption to our customers.

ยท Assist in the recruitment of subordinates and is responsible for the development and training of employees
ยท Is responsible for the Health/Safety for his/her employees. This includes ensuring that training is in place for all operations on the shift. As a supervisor is responsible for ensuring the shift adheres to these standards/procedures.
ยท Ensure that all production operating and training procedures/manuals are adequately documented/maintained and updated on a regular basis. Ensure that these and the quality assurance procedures are fully adhered to.
ยท Conduct regular routine audits of production area and equipment ensuring adherence to company policy.
ยท Ensuring that the production department is always looking clean, neat and tidy especially on completion of work orders.
ยท Work orders are completed and the information is accurate.
ยท Transfer of materials out of department ASAP after completion of work order.
ยท Supervise and direct production team members in assigned area or shifts to achieve scheduled outputs at acceptable levels of safety, quality and productivity.
ยท Allocate tasks and assign personnel efficiently, in line with changing requirements, monitor and control performance standards in line with budget.
ยท Control machine and operator efficiencies, set-up and changeover parameters ensuring corrective action is taken when required.
ยท Maintain an acceptable level of quality by ensuring adherence to all quality specifications and directives. Work closely with QA personnel in meeting quality requirements.
ยท Ensure adherence to procedures with regard to 1st piece inspections, line clearance, batch control, product and material transfers, shift reporting, supplies and spares requisitioning.
ยท Ensure regular equipment checks are made as specified and planned maintenance schedules are implemented.
ยท Participate actively and encourage team members to participate in new developments within plant e.g. Lean Manufacturing.

Position Summary
The Physician Advisor serves as a liaison between the clinical document improvement (CDI) team, which includes hospital coders; members of the Hospital's administration; the Medical Staff of the hospital; and the hospital's Utilization Management to facilitate the development and implementation of clinical documentation improvement initiatives. The Physician Advisor is pivotal in leveraging his or her clinical position to demonstrate the association of care delivery with specificity in documentation. The Physician Advisor is responsible for conducting clinical reviews referred by the Utilization Management, Coding and Clinical Documentation Improvement departments. Standard Work: Physician Advisor
- Acts as a liaison between the CDI professionals, Health Information Management, and the hospital's medical staff to facilitate accurate and complete documentation for coding and abstracting of clinical data, capture of severity, acuity and risk of mortality, HCC/risk adjustment in addition to Diagnosis Related Group (DRG) assignment.
- Perform concurrent and retrospective reviews of selected health records as it pertains to CDI and coding validation, and participate in the development of clinically appropriate and compliant provider queries to further clarify documentation.
- Educates individual hospital staff physicians about International Classification of Diseases (ICD) coding guidelines and clinical terminology to improve their understanding of severity, acuity, risk of mortality, HCC/risk adjustment and DRG assignments on their individual patient records.
- Assists with the evaluation and appeal of concurrent and restrospective denials and retrospective DRG downgrades. May perform peer-to-peer meetings as required.

The Clinical Dietitian is responsible to the Clinical Nutrition Manager. He/she works across the institution to provide quality nutritional support services.
