Essential Functions
Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
Documents patient care given.
Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

How you'll contribute
A Registered Nurse (RN), Dialysis who excels in this role:
- Assures optimum quality patient care by serving as a resource person for other staff members, patients, and family.
- Coordinates patient care with other departments and assists the physician as needed.
- Oversees treatment of medical and surgical patients needing dialysis procedures.
- Dialysis delivery of care includes assessment, problem identification, interventions and treatments, and evaluation of actual, potential or perceived physical or psychological problems.
- Procedures or treatments provided in Dialysis include but are not limited to: Dialysis admission assessment, medication, IV therapy, administration of blood and blood products, pain control, O2 therapy, assisting physician with Quintons, dressing application and changes, Quinton Cath, declotting Quinton catheters, accessing AV shunt for diagnostic tests i.e. venograms, monitoring patient continually during Hemoreplacement treatment.

Position Summary:
Our ICU unit is comprised of 16 beds including CVICU, MICU, Surgical, Neuro and Trauma (10-11 beds for CV/ICU Patients) with a 1:2 nurse to patient ratio. You will be playing a crucial role in making our community at Lake Havasu City healthier and will be part of a team with a positive and collaborative work environment. To ensure that patients' needs are met you will be working side-by-side with our Multi Care Technicians. Minimum Qualifications:
