Position Overview
Large food manufacturing company in McCook Illinois makes a wide variety of ready to eat snack foods including health food bars. Second shift position. 3 pm - 11 pm. .
MUST live within daily driving distance to McCook, IL.
We are looking for an experienced quality supervisor from the food manufacturing industry.
Primary responsibility is protecting the food by supervising QA technicians to effectively implement food safety and quality procedures and meeting all regulatory and customer requirements.
The QA Supervisor is responsible for implementing and monitoring food safety and quality assurance procedures and ensuring operations is in compliance with best practices for food safety and quality.
Qualifications
- Solid job history in the food manufacturing industry
- Supervisory experience
- Knowledge of FSMA and SQF - we are SQF 3
- Knowledge of HACCP and USDA.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience with audits helpful.
Preferred:
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Experience in food manufacturing
• Experience with supervision of QA technicians
Salary up to $70,000 + depending on experience
