We are seeking a Gastroenterologist Physician for a 120-day assignment in Kentucky, starting Jun 1, 2026.

Our client is looking for a professional to provide M-F clinic coverage from 8am to 4:30pm, complemented by weeknight call from 4:30pm to 8am.

This role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, including various upper and lower GI endoscopic procedures, biopsies, and foreign body removal to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities and Duties Perform Upper GI endoscopy, including biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder (cautery versus laser), and injection of varices.

Conduct Small Bowel biopsy.

Execute Lower GI endoscopy, including flexible and rigid sigmoidoscopy.

Perform Colonoscopy with biopsy and excision of polyp.

Conduct Liver biopsy.

ERCP and EUS skills are preferred but not required.

Additional Information Board Certification in Gastroenterology is required.

Experience with Meditech EHR system.
