The office setting is shared with multiple specialties and includes: Team Composition: 2 OB/GYNs 2 Family Practice with OB (FPBO) 2 Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM) Duties Include: OB/GYN clinic care OB and GYN call coverage through Labor & Delivery Unit and Emergency Department Setting: Critical Access Hospital and Clinic Required Procedures: C-Section Ectopic pregnancy management Repair of 3rd-4th degree lacerations Support Staff: Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in clinic Labor & Delivery Registered Nurses (RNs) at the hospital Additional Details Average Worked Callback Hours: Weekday: 3-4 hours Weekend: 1-2 hours Less than 50% on weekdays, more on weekends and ER Reason for Coverage: Medical Leave FTE: Full-time equivalent preferred Dealbreakers: Must be comfortable handling low-risk and high-risk pregnancies, fetal heart rate (FHR) interpretation, routine and complicated deliveries, OB inductions, and emergent GYN surgeries.
