Position Responsibilities:
Install, fit, fasten, align, adjust, and connect parts and assemblies to build aircraft power packs and strut assemblies.
Use production drawings, specifications, and assembly pages to derive measurements and locate points for part marking and layout preparation.
Perform drilling, reaming, riveting, and soldering necessary for assembly tasks.
Review work orders and installation plans to determine job priorities and obtain appropriate drawings and production illustrations.
Obtain and verify kitted detail parts and assemblies, ensuring they are correct and free of defects.
Pre-assemble components such as wiring harnesses and tubing assemblies using power and hand tools.
Operate material handling equipment, including overhead cranes and scissor lifts, to load and unload engines and struts.
Align parts and assemblies to mating surfaces, temporarily securing them in place and checking for proper alignment.
Attach, seal, and connect parts, assemblies, and wires using the correct fasteners and tools, tightening per specifications.
Torque fasteners and install safety devices such as lock wires and cotter pins as required by drawings or specifications.
Seal hydraulic fittings and access doors, applying necessary fluids, primers, and adhesives according to specifications.
Operate various tools, including pull rivet guns and countersinks, to fasten and torque parts and assemblies.
Verify close tolerance dimensions using precision measuring tools and check work for defects before inspection.

Position Responsibilities:
- Resolve airplane level requirements into system level requirements and resolve system level requirements into component requirements with time and cost efficient validation methods.
- Develop and evaluate system and subsystem architecture alternatives to meet project objectives and requirements.
- Conduct trade studies to analyze and compare alternatives, rapidly converging on preferred configurations through system simulations and development test programs.
- Lead and participate in system, component, and detailed design efforts, ensuring thorough documentation and adherence to schedule and cost constraints to produce error-free, manufacturable specifications and drawings.

- Drive certification efforts by creating required artifacts such as system safety analyses, failure modes and effects analyses (FMEA), and fault tree analyses (FTA); ensure traceability to regulatory requirements and resolve any regulatory conflicts.
- Support ongoing production by promptly addressing build issues at Boeing and supplier facilities, identifying and implementing design improvements to enhance build accuracy, production rate, and line safety, and resolving rejections, functional test failures, and flight squawks.
- Provide subject matter expertise to support global fleet operations, responding to airline and regulator inquiries, leading resolution of Service Related Problems (SRPs), and analyzing flight incidents to inform Safety Review Board (SRB) recommendations for the Continued Operational Safety Program (COSP).

Position Responsibilities
Review job assignments using bar charts, SOI, IP, and consult with leads to obtain necessary drawings.
Locate work areas using drawings and electronic resources that specify airplane and section numbers.
Verify kitted parts against installation plans and bill of materials for accuracy and suitability.
Determine and obtain the correct fasteners from PCA/MMO control per specifications.
Set up assembly tools according to tooling instructions, ensuring locators are correct for the model.
Align and secure parts on the airplane using tooling holes and clamps, checking for proper margins.
