Job Summary: Surgical technologists work under the direct supervision of a registered nurse / surgeon to facilitate the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures, ensuring that the operating room environment is safe, that equipment functions properly, and that the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety. Surgical technologists possess expertise in the theory and application of sterile and aseptic technique and combine the knowledge of human anatomy, surgical procedures, and implementation tools and technologies to facilitate a physician's performance of invasive therapeutic and diagnostic procedures.

Qualifications: Satisfactory completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program or diploma for Operating Room Technologist from Armed Forces required. Previous experience as a Surgical Technologist preferred. Certification by the Association of Surgical Technologist is required. Current CPR Certification required.

CT Technologist II Roles and Responsibilities:

- Performs CT and other related procedures to demonstrate cross-sectioned anatomy, exercising professional judgment in performance of service.
- May also perform duties of diagnostic radiologic technologist as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Graduate of accredited radiography program.
- Registered by ARRT with Modality Advanced Registry Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists completed within 12 months of hire date.
- Completion of the ARRT--CQR as required.
- Should be experienced with competency in special imaging technique, IV competencies and cross sectional anatomy.
- CT experience preferred.
- Ability to accept new responsibilities as new equipment/examinations is introduced into the department.
- Ability and desire to perform AIDET customer service skills for all CT Imaging patients.
- Ongoing participation in continuing education.
- Current BLS certification required.

Job Summary: Performs accurate simulation and/or delivery of prescribed ionizing therapeutic radiation under the direction of a radiation oncologist and adhering to radiation safety guidelines using a variety of complex techniques and equipment. Performs daily equipment warm-up and quality assurance procedures. Prepares immobilization devices. Maintains patients' charts and records data, ensuring proper identification, documentation, routing, and confidentiality. May participate in research projects impacting patient care areas. Qualifications:

- Registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Must achieve registered status within one year of start date.
- At least 1 year of work experience is preferred.
- BLS required.
