Urgent Care is seeking a Physician to join our welcoming and diverse community of providers in our four centers in Springfield, MO and Joplin, MO.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Physicians must be:
* Residency training and board certified/eligible in Family Medicine (FM), Emergency Medicine (EM) or Med/Peds
* Must treat both pediatric and adult patient populations
* Comfortable with minor procedures such as sutures, casts, splints, etc., and reading EKGs and X-rays
* Open to collaboration with APPs
* Willing to work with medical assistants, scribes, rad techs as support staff
Scheduling/Needs:
* Up to 14 shifts per month
* Can schedule 4 shifts in a row
* Centers are open 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday (12-hour shifts) and 9am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday (8-hour shifts)
* Providers will not be granted any overtime
Description:
Urgent Care clinic; Provider must see patients 6 months and up for urgent care needs. Procedures include suturing, wound care, I & Ds, splinting, X-Ray and ECG overread, place IVs.
