* Completes timely quality control procedures in accordance with regulatory standards and performing notification/remediation as warranted.

This job provides individualized, direct patient care of assigned patients by performing a variety of sonographic procedures and/or tests, not limited to electrocardiograms and associated stress tests, echocardiograms to include 2D/M Mode, Doppler and Color Flow imaging, Exercise Stress Echo and Dobutamine Stress Echo. Compiles history and diagnostic information from the examination, and presenting the preliminary sonographic findings. In collaboration with staff radiologists, this job assesses patients and safely performs routine CT procedures in accordance with prescribed radiation safety procedures and protocols. This job is a clinical mentor for junior staff and students.

This job assesses patients and safely performs routine computed tomography procedures in accordance with prescribed radiation safety procedures and protocols. Serves as a clinical mentor for junior staff and students.
Education
Required - Completion of an approved radiologic technology program.

Work Experience
Required - None.
Preferred - CT experience.

Certifications
Required - Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or computed tomography ARRT (CT ) certified OR American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registry eligible, registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 90 days of employment, and temporary state license.
CT registry eligible within one year.
Advanced certification in CT within one year of becoming CT registry eligible.
Current unrestricted license in state of practice.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Preferred - Advanced certification in CT by a mechanism acceptable to the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
