Position Details:
- Rate: $70?$90 per hour (Independent Contractor) - Based on experience
- Location: On-site in Hilo, Hawaii
- Specialty: Orthopedic Surgery
- Schedule: 1-2 times a week, 8 hrs per day for clinic, 1-2 times a week for surgery
Responsibilities:
- Surgical first assist with orthopedic surgeon
- Conduct patient evaluations and follow-up visits
- Assist with diagnosis, treatment planning, and rehabilitation care
- Perform joint injections, wound care, and post-operative assessments
- Collaborate with the physician on surgical cases and care coordination
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
Qualifications:
- Hawaii PA license and NCCPA certification required
- Experience in orthopedics or related field preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
