POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES Serves as a clinical expert, educator, and mentor for the Palo Alto Hospital.

LICENSURE
Must possess a current license to practice Vocational Nursing in the State of Texas. Must have a current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider or AHA BLS Instructor Provider card.

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinates the interdisciplinary treatment plan of care for patients across the healthcare continuum within the maternal patient population. Facilitates the delivery of services, evaluates effectiveness, tracks outcomes and functions as the patient advocate to identify and communicate health care needs. Works collaboratively with clinical staff, clinic leadership, and outside agencies in an effort to improve patient outcomes, compliance, and decrease complications.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, RN or LVN is required. A minimum three years of clinical nursing experience is required. Data entry, referral management, utilization management experience is required. Case Management experience preferred. Experience in a similar setting and working with OB patients preferred. Experience working with EPIC EMR desirable.

Current licensure in the State of Texas as an RN or LVN is required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
BSN is highly preferred. Must meet career ladder Staff Nurse II criteria for worked area. Two years or more of nursing experience required. Must have current American Heart Association, Basic Cardiac Life Support and Healthcare Provider card.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
Current RN licensure from the Board of Nurse Examiners of the state of Texas is required. National certification in Dialysis is encouraged.
POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES Serves as a member of the mental health care team that provides specialized health care for selected groups of patients in the Adult Detention Center.
Participates as a part of a multidisciplinary team that includes medical and mental health.

Ensures efficient, appropriate and adequate mental health care is administered to incarcerated individuals in the Bexar County Adult Detention Center.

EDUCATION A Registered Professional Nurse who is prepared for advanced nursing practice by virtue of knowledge and skills obtained through an accredited post basic or advanced educational program of study acceptable to the Board of Nurse Examiners.
A Master's degree in nursing is preferred.
Three years of nursing experience is required and two years of advanced practice is preferred.
Certification by a national nursing body is recommended.
LICENSURE Must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Texas and credentialed by the State to practice as a Nurse Practitioner.
Prescriptive authority is required.
