To meet the needs of the region and provide seamless, high-quality, comprehensive Women's Health, we are seeking two Board Eligible/Board Certified OB/GYN to join our rapidly growing team to provide comprehensive OB/GYN care, including prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum and gynecologic services. 

You will work alongside experienced providers in a supportive setting, with a high focus on patient centered care. Our team currently consists of five OB/GYNs, one Maternal Fetal Medicine physician, and one Urogynecologist. Dedicated OR block time, surgical robotics, and collaborative relationships with Advanced Practice Providers, Nurses, and support staff. We offer a shared call model and promote a favorable work-life balance with in-house 24/7 laborist coverage to manage unassigned patients, emergencies, and coverage for practice deliveries. Our hospital features a Level II (Level III) NICU with seamless access to tertiary care. We welcome physicians seeking mentorship, growth, and a long-term home within a supportive private practice setting.

LOCATION: Binghamton, NY is located 2.5 hours north of New York City and 1 hour from Syracuse, NY. The position includes a competitive starting salary of $350,000 to $500,000 with bonus incentives, a sign-on bonus, moving expenses, and a vast array of employment benefits.

UHS Orthopedics is focused on recruiting specialized surgeons for growth and succession planning and has an excellent opportunity for a Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon (Hand). This practice has a regional referral base as well as a large, established primary care team within our system to support our specialists. The practice is currently comprised of three total joint surgeons who specialize in knee, hip and shoulder, a hand surgeon, two sports medicine surgeons, a fellowship trained trauma surgeon, two non-op sports medicine physicians and two physiatrists. UHS Orthopedics is very supportive of the use of APP's to enhance patient care and has outstanding clinical and administrative support staff to maximize the day-to-day operations of the office. It is located in a new state-of-the-art facility with a large Physical Therapy practice as well as Podiatry, Chiropractic and Rheumatology, allowing for a multidisciplinary approach to treating patients.

There are opportunities for teaching residents and medical students from Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, involvement in the education of the UHS sports medicine fellow, as well as the ability to participate in clinical research. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team and contribute to our mission of excellence in healthcare delivery.

Job Description:

The Staff Physician will play a key role in providing leadership, oversight, and clinical expertise within our emergency department. This individual will work collaboratively with the Staff Physician, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality emergency medical care to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Medical Director in the overall management and operation of the emergency department, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Provide clinical leadership and supervision to emergency department physicians, residents, and advanced practice providers.
• Participate in the development and implementation of clinical protocols, policies, and procedures to optimize patient care and safety.
• Monitor and evaluate clinical performance metrics, patient outcomes, and quality improvement initiatives to identify areas for enhancement and implement best practices.
• Collaborate with hospital administration, medical staff, and interdisciplinary teams to promote effective communication, teamwork, and coordination of care.
• Participate in educational activities, training programs, and continuing medical education to enhance professional development and maintain licensure/certifications.
• Serve as a liaison between the emergency department and other hospital departments, community agencies, and external stakeholders to facilitate seamless patient care transitions and community outreach efforts.
• Stay abreast of advances in emergency medicine, evidence-based practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and alignment with industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM) required.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of New York.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in emergency medicine, including demonstrated leadership and administrative responsibilities.
• Strong clinical skills, critical thinking abilities, and proficiency in emergency procedures and protocols.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Prior experience in medical staff leadership, quality improvement, or academic medicine preferred.
• Commitment to professional integrity, ethical conduct, and patient-centered care.
