Managing relationships with external auditors and stakeholders, ensuring that all audits and reviews are conducted efficiently and effectively.

Keeping abreast of changes in SOX regulations and industry best practices, and implementing necessary changes within the organization.

7.

Providing training and guidance to staff on SOX compliance issues, promoting a culture of compliance throughout the organization.

Qualifications: To be considered for the role of Permanent Head of SOX Compliance, candidates must possess the following qualifications: 1.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a SOX compliance role within the energy industry, with a focus on Technical Accounting, Sarbanes-Oxley, Internal Controls, and Big 4 experience.

2.

A strong understanding of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and its application within the energy industry.

3.

Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing SOX compliance programs and internal controls.

4.

Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.

5.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial information to a variety of audiences.

6.

A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to anticipate potential issues and develop effective solutions.

7.

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Professional certifications such as CPA, CISA, or CIA are highly desirable.
