We are seeking a highly skilled Foreman to lead field operations on heavy civil and environmental construction projects. This role requires a seasoned, hands‑on leader capable of overseeing multi‑million‑dollar project scopes with full responsibility for on‑site production, safety, and execution.

Position: Foreman

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the on‑site leader (“field general”) responsible for day‑to‑day project execution.
• Lead, direct, and work alongside field crews on environmental, excavation, eco‑restoration, and remediation projects.
• Maintain complete ownership of production rates, jobsite workflow, and field decision‑making.
• Run daily operations including earthwork, excavation, site restoration, environmental controls, and heavy civil tasks.
• Conduct and enforce daily safety meetings, toolbox talks, and site‑specific safety measures.
• Operate and oversee use of heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, dozers, skid steers, etc.).
• Coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, materials, inspections, and overall site logistics.
• Ensure work aligns with project plans, specs, schedules, and quality standards.
• Track field productivity and report progress to project management.
• Represent the company professionally with clients, inspectors, and project partners.
• Travel to job sites as needed (approx. 35% overnight travel).

Qualifications

• Proven field leadership experience as a Site Supervisor, Foreman, or Superintendent in heavy civil, environmental, excavation, or remediation work.
• Extensive hands‑on experience with field operations and earthwork activities.
• Strong leadership presence — able to take charge, make decisions, and direct crews effectively.
• Ability to wear multiple hats and manage larger, complex project scopes.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and jobsite accountability.
• Comfortable performing physical labor and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Clean driving record; CDL Class A is a plus.
• OSHA 40‑Hour HAZWOPER certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Must pass required pre‑employment screenings.

We are seeking a Waste Collection CDL Driver who will be working out of our Jersey City Depot (264 Broadway, Jersey City, NJ 07306) servicing NYC Routes and reporting to the Site Manager but is also subject to supervision by Route Supervisors and Dispatchers. This is a full time, Union, non-exempt, hourly position with an overnight schedule starting anywhere between 7pm and 9pm but may vary depending on business needs. Shifts may vary from 10 to 12 hours per evening or until the route is complete. This Depot will be servicing our NYC routes.

Working alongside a Helper, our Waste Collection CDL Drivers main responsibility is to safely operate a rear-loading truck, for the pick-up service of bags or containers filled with waste or recyclable material. Drivers transport the material to a disposal, transfer or recycle facility, and may make one or more trips throughout the shift.

• The driver is responsible for safely operating the truck in compliance with IWSs safety standards as well as OSHA and DOT regulations, and local traffic laws.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle using utilizing standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report); notes all issues on DVIR form for corrective review/repair.
• Ensuring that the container and its content are always secure. This includes periodically checking tarps and ties, and may require the driver to climb onto containers and/or reach overhead.
• Perform pre- and post-route inspections of assigned truck and document any safety issues on standard reports.
• Continuously monitor for safety and service-related issues, as well as containers of other equipment in need of repair, and report any issues to the Route Supervisor or Dispatch.
• All IWS employees are expected to be responsible and accountable for the safety for themselves, their colleagues, the trucks, and other equipment and property. Drivers must immediately notify Route Supervisor or Dispatch of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage.
• Communicate professionally with customers and Dispatchers at all times. This includes receiving complaints about schedules and quality of service. Our Drivers must make note of and report on any such complaints and respond in a courteous and respectful manner.
• Attend all required training, operational meetings, and mandatory monthly Safety Meetings
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• All Drivers must have a valid Class A or B CDL and a clean driving record.
• At least 1 year of experience operating a vehicle requiring a CDL A or B, within the last 7 years. Experience as a Driver or Helper for a refuse company is highly preferred.
• Working knowledge of DOT, OSHA and applicable traffic regulations.
• Must be able to speak and read English well enough to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic and signals, respond to official questions, and be able to make legible entries on reports and records.
• Must be able to read and understand a map
• Must be able to meet the physical and safety requirements of the position.
• Must be willing and able to work required worked hours as allowed under DOT regulation and may include weekend, night, and/or holiday work.

Physical Requirements

• The Driver position may be required to lift up to 50 pounds, as well as mount and dismount the truck multiple times every route.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all kinds of weather.
• Drivers must be able to physically mount and dismount the truck throughout the duration of the workday

To deliver a great customer experience while taking customers orders off of the ShopRite website, selecting their order and communicating any issues with the customers; to bag the orders, pack it in totes, store accordingly, bill the order, transport to the customer's car and take payment.

Minimum required qualifications include, but are not limited to, the following:

Essential job functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

Selecting:

• Accurately identify products from various departments.
• Be knowledgeable in picking top quality perishable items.
• Be able to substitute comparable items when a customer's item is out of stock. This requires excellent communication skills via phone & in person.
• Accurately select and organize customer's items efficiently.

Consolidating:

• Properly bag customer's orders safely and efficiently.
• Prepare workspace for selection process.
• Merge the completed totes to ensure they are ready for customer collection or delivery.
• Prioritize temperature-controlled totes in the correct location (i.e. cooler).

Exporting:

• Process all forms of payments (i.e. cash, credit, checks, EBT, WIC, rain checks, coupons, vouchers, gift cards, etc.).
• Accurately collect proper payment and provide proper change.
• Ability to make change with all denominations of American currency.
• Understand operation of cash register and follow all cash handling procedures, if applicable.
• Prepare paperwork to complete a customer's transaction and file accurately.
• Prepare workspace for selection process.

All online shopping clerks must be willing and able to perform any or all of the selecting, consolidating and exporting functions as well as all of the general department responsibilities set forth below.

General department responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Greet all customers and provide them with prompt, courteous service and assistance.
• Be knowledgeable in the various types of products carried in the store.
• Be knowledgeable about the selecting device and software.
• Properly handle all items in a customer's order to ensure the highest quality.
• Regularly lift, pull, push and rotate merchandise that weights 25 lbs., and that occasionally weights up to 50 lbs.
• Check prices and be knowledgeable about location of items in the store.
• Promote for sale any current charitable promotions to customers.
• Stand at work station for duration of scheduled shift, which may exceed 8 hours per day.
• Understand and adhere to company shrink guidelines as relates to online shopping department operations.
• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment.
• Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, utensils and equipment in accordance with department of sanitation and QA standards.
• Keep floor clear of debris and spills.
• Adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as they pertain to the online shopping operation.
• Perform all duties in accordance with company rules, policies, safety requirements, and security standards and all local, state and federal health and civil code regulations.
• Dress and groom according to company policy including uniform, name badge and hat or hair restraint.
• Perform duties in accordance with QA hand washing standards and use disposable gloves when handling food.
• Perform duties in accordance with the company's HAZCOM program and adhere to manufacturer's label instructions for the safe and proper use of all chemical products.
• Utilize and maintain equipment as required by department; report any equipment problems immediately.
• Complete all applicable department training programs.
• Perform all duties in accordance with all shoprite service priorities (safety, friendliness, presentation, and efficiency).
