Safety Coordinator
Basic Purpose
Chiefly responsible for ensuring the highest possible level of operational safety and asset protection across designated job site, reducing and controlling CCI exposures to injury and accident risks and perils, while ensuring operational regulatory compliance with all appropriate state and federal regulations. Must possess at least OSHA 30 certification.
Essential Functions/Duties
- Manage all EH&S task related to rigging, mechanical and piping installations disciplines.
- Implementation of CCI & customer EH&S procedures/protocols.
- Daily tool box talks.
- Manage and coordinate permits (hot work, JSA's, LOTO, etc) with crew and customer representatives.
- Perform and document daily audits/observations.
- Support project team with EH&S reporting and customer deliverables.
- Coordinate task specific training that may be required with CCI Project Manager, Crew and EH&S Management team.
- Identify, plan and coordinate the EH&S execution of hazardous work that exist within the work area.
- Identify hazardous conditions and provide solutions to project team to implement procedures, tools and/or equipment to execute task safely.
- Reporting of daily crew size and members to ensure all employees are accounted for in the event of incident/evacuation.
- Conducts Health and Safety Training Programs and maintains all records as needed.
- Directs and conducts site facility walk-through inspections, safety audits and documentation reviews relative to OSHA, MSHA, DOT, EPA, DHS regulations and reports findings to Corporate Management.
- Investigates the causes of all accidents and injuries, and completes reports as required. Uses Accidents/near misses, etc. as training to help prevent future occurrences.
- Inventories and maintains appropriate quantities of all necessary safety equipment and PPE.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- 4 years verifiable experience as Safety Professional.
- Must have OSHA 30
- OSHA 510 and 500 a plus.
- Must be able to climb and not be afraid of heights.
- Regular attendance is required.
- Significant travel may be required.
- Performs other duties as required.
Working Conditions/Physical Effort
Conditions include working in office, shop, busy traffic areas, warehouses, and undeveloped properties, with frequent exposure to dirt, dust, grease, oil, vibrations, and adverse weather conditions. Must be able to safely access all areas of property, buildings, structures, wharves, rooftops and other elevated positions, as well as, confined spaces. Must be able to effectively use all required PPE equipment and lift up to fifty pounds. Strenuous physical demands are required to safely perform the essential functions associated with this position. Must be able to safely operate all involved equipment and tools. Must be capable of standing for long periods of time, bending consistently, working in confined spaces with limited access, on ladders, in personnel lifts, in work boots, working in awkward body positions and able.

Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Possess a current valid driver's license
- Carry and use a firearm. Maintaining firearm proficiency is mandatory.
- Must be at least 21 years old at the time of application and under 40 at referral. Exceptions may apply for those with current or prior service in federal law enforcement positions covered by special retirement provisions. The Secret Service has determined that age is essential to the performance of this position.
- You must obtain a Top Secret Clearance and retain it during your career.

Shifts typically begin with OR arrival at 6:45 AM, case start at 7:00 AM, and conclude between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM, with specific regional anesthesia procedures reserved for MDAs.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide anesthesia for a diverse range of surgical cases including General Surgery, Obstetrics and C Sections, Orthopedics, Endoscopy, GI, Urology, Pediatrics ENT (ages 2+), and Robotics.
- Manage patient care with a keen awareness of a lower income population exhibiting higher BMI and ASA levels, ensuring appropriate anesthetic plans.
- Adhere to a shift schedule with OR arrival at 6:45 AM, 7:00 AM case start time, and variable end times of 3:00 PM, 5:00 PM, or 7:00 PM.
- Note: The locum Anesthetist will not perform Spinals, Epidurals, Nerve Blocks, Upper/Lower Blocks, or Fiber Optics; these procedures are exclusively conducted by the MDA.
