Singers must provide their own music track showcasing an upbeat pop song and a musical theatre song. Actors will be reading from a selection of sides provided upon check in.
Costume Characters must be no taller than 5'3"
Virtual Submissions & Special Skill Submissions (such as stilt walking, jumping stilts, cirque skills, etc.) may be submitted virtually no later than February 14th to to be considered for Spring/Summer casting.
Responsibilities:
Singers & Singer/Dancers: When picking your audition piece, please keep in mind that our shows include high energy pop, rock, and even country music. Please prepare 2 contrasting vocal selections showing versatile styles- your best 16-32 bars of each. Aux cord will be provided for In Person Auditions. You MAY NOT sing a cappella. FOR IN PERSON AUDITIONS, please dress appropriately in case you are asked to do a movement combination.
Dancers: Our shows mix traditional musical theatre and jazz with hip hop and even dance team styles of choreography. Are you a tumbler? Are you a classically trained ballerina? Are you an aspiring Rockette? We want to see all of that! Come prepared to learn a high-energy dance combination. Please plan to dress professionally, in a way that allows for movement. Please also bring at least 2 types of shoes.
Improvisational & Character Actors + Show Hosts: Be over the top and confident! You will be provided with audition sides to read from upon check in. We do not expect you to memorize this, but we do want to see you try new things and make BOLD choices when reading for us. You may also be asked to improvise during the audition. Please be sure to include any improvisation experience on your resume.

Responsibilities:
- Installs, repairs, adjusts, maintains, retrofits, and troubleshoots refrigerant controls, compressors, heat pumps, split systems, ductless splits, packaged units, electric motors, motor controls, commercial furnaces and related controls, water pumps, exhaust fans, unit heaters, economizers, humidifiers, capacity controls, sizes of air compressors and air dryers, and related accessories and controls, chillers, (reciprocating, screw and centrifugal), cooling towers, automation control systems, and all types of glycol systems.
- Maintains accurate and up to date records and logs of all work performed.
- Makes recommendations for improvements, modifications, upgrades and report findings to supervisor on a timely basis.

Performs most kinds of HVAC required in the park: seeks guidance on most complex HVAC work. Works well with customers and able to explain issues that may arise.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Proficient in most aspects of HVAC function. Good verbal communication skills, ability to explain complex HVAC issues with customers in a way they understand. Good judgment, decision making and problem solving skills.
Education:
High school graduate or equivalent. Vocational training preferred.
License or Certification:
Valid driver’s license. Gas Fitter 1 license required in applicable states. CFC recovery certification required in applicable states. Canada: Trade license or equivalent depending on trade.
Experience:
Typically requires 2-4 years of HVAC experience. Refrigeration experience preferred.
Equivalency:
Directly related experience or a combination of directly related education and experience and/or competencies may be considered in place of the above requirements.

Carowinds is looking for individuals to clean and maintains the cabins at the campground on a daily basis ensuring thoroughly cleaned facilities for our guests and associates.
- Works with chemicals in accordance with all safety guidelines listed on the safety data sheets (SDS). Uses cleaning equipment in accordance with the departmental safety guidelines and utilizes personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary.
- Cleans and maintains all areas of a guest-room including making beds, cleaning bathroom fixtures, removing dirty linen, replacing all used guest amenities, dusting, vacuuming, emptying trash, mopping floors, etc.
- Responsible for completing guest-room task assignment daily, responding to guest requests and inquiries, reporting maintenance issues, collecting and labeling lost and found items, and responding to the requests of team leaders.

This position focuses mainly on providing a safe environment for guests and associates by routinely conducting building/ground inspections to assure regulatory compliance; responds to fires and other emergencies as needed; and investigates first aid incident reports as necessary.
