Description
A Brief Overview
Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.
BERT RN goal is a preventative measure with our behavioral population in identifying and resolving issues to prevent Code Violets, dissatisfaction of care, and early identification of contributing factors that may lead to agitation. They would response to Code Violets and be responsible for communication, identification of issues to be resolved, and follow up.
The position will require a skill set in medical as well as behavioral health nursing, familiarity with de-escalation and communication skills as well as identification of effective problem solving and working within various teams.
This position will also receive $4.00/hour in incentive pay on top of the hourly base rate.

Qualifications
Education
* Other Accredited Program: Diploma in Nursing or
* (ADN) Associate's Degree in Nursing (Required)
* (BSN) Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred)
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
* Knowledge of nursing process and practice. (Required proficiency)
* Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed clinical therapies (ie. stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers and electronic monitoring devices. (Required proficiency)
